Cheryl Day vs Candi Divine
After many requests following the “Carolina Clash” show, the PGWA had to work fast to get a match set up between Cheryl Day and Candi Divine.
The video starts with an interview with Cheryl Day (the only extensive on-camera interview she’s ever done!). She speaks about her training at Mildred Burke’s famous school for women wrestlers, her experiences in Japan, some of her past experiences in the ring, and what she thinks of some of the (then) new women in the sport.
Cheryl and Candi then battle it out in the ring. There is no love lost between them as they dish out violent attacks. The pin that ends the match leaves one woman angry and upset and demanding a GrudgeMatch to settle the score.
The next day, Divine and Day are at it again…this time with no referee! They both know how to mix it up and inflict damage, but as to who will emerge victorious, you’ll have to watch and see!
