As a prelude to her own match later this evening, Freya the Slaya comes to the ring to cut a promo on her opponent.

Then comes the much-anticipated PGWA championship match between titleholder Riley Matthews and challenger Arie Alexander.    These two have been on a collision course for the belt for quite some time, and it all erupts in the ring right now!

(Note: This was originally supposed to be a 3-way battle for the belt along with Kylie Paige, but she was injured in a match several days prior to this, and was not medically cleared to wrestle.)

The action in this is equal parts blindingly fast and bruisingly brutal, as both wrestlers battle to not simply claim the gold, but also prove who the better woman is.    It’s important to point out that Riley recently came back from an injury, and while she is fully recovered, one has to question if her endurance is entirely up to snuff, especially in the latter minutes of this match, when the battering she has endured really seems to be taking its toll.    Aria can sense victory is within her grasp, but to ensure it, she takes advantage of the referee’s distraction to blind Riley with a blast of hair spray to the eyes, setting her up for a sudden TKO and pin, and the PGWA has a new Champion!

BUT WAIT…Big Mama charges down to the ring to show the ref the discarded spray can, and then Jillian Hall arrives to exercise her authority as GM and disqualify Arie, returning the belt to Riley.    But while this battle is done, don’t think the way between Riley and Arie is over!
