Diane Von Hoffman vs Sonya Blackhawk
The PGWA was founded with two aims: first, to preserve the best in Old School pro wrestling, and second, to promote exciting new talent. Both objectives are achieved in this one, and fantastically so, as ring veteran Diane Von Hoffman takes on the electrifying newcomer, Sonya Blackhawk.
In this Best of 3 Falls contest, both wrestlers give all that they’ve got. Not surprisingly, Diane’s well-honed roughhouse tactics inflict serious pain to her opponent, to the point where Sonya’s leg hurts so much, she can barely hobble on it! And of course Von Hoffman, known as ‘The Teutonic Terror’, is more than happy to employ her devastating Iron Claw to punish poor Sonya.
Impressively, after losing the first fall, Sonya is determined to continue, and in the battle that follows, Diane finds herself with a real fight on her hands! Ultimately, this match ends with the loser left semi-conscious, and the winner not interested in stopping the brawl after it ends!
