NIKKI READY TO ROCK!As LadySports Online readers know, New England's own Nikki Roxx will be traveling to Old England... specifically, Manchester... on April the 23rd to face Pippa L'Vinn for the PGWA crown. Since announcing the match, both the PGWA and Nikki have been inundated with requests from fans for more information. As a result, Nikki herself has written the following story:
Now, after reading Pippa’s comments about American wrestlers and how she has no competition I guess I reacted before I actually thought out the situation.
I understand that Pippa has competed against some of the best American woman wrestlers and has come out of those matches the winner. But, she has never stepped foot in the ring with me. Because of this I know I have the element of surprise. She has no idea what to expect.
As for me, I have tapes of matches and have been given a lot of advice. I know Pippa is mostly a technical wrestler... a grappler, if you will. But I don’t think everyone realizes I was trained at “Killer” Kowalski’s Wrestling Institution. I have been trained in mat wrestling. Just look at my match against Susan Green at 'Hot August night'. I know I wasn’t victorious but I gave Susan a run for her money.

Also, I have been traveling to Mexico and working for LLF for the past year. I have been training the entire time I’ve been going to Mexico. I have broadened my wrestling horizon and have been studying Lucha Libre. I know how to mix the grappling with some highflying. And that in itself will be a challenge to Pippa.
Now, I don’t know if I’ll definitely be coming home with the belt but I do know this. I will be the challenge that Pippa L'Vinn is looking for from the American wrestlers. I will make Pippa eat her words!
