LADYSPORTS: Welcome to LadySports, Kasey. Tell us, when did you first get into the sport?
KASEY FOX: I started watching WWE when I was around 8/9 years old with some childhood friends
when we played Smackdown vs Raw in their mother’s pet store attic. I LOVED it! I went to an
indy show that year at what would be my high school…and also where I would have my first
match almost 10 years later.

Then, my freshman year, I started attending local shows when a promotion began running monthly
in my town. At the end of my junior year, two of the guys started a training school, and
I told my parents it had been my dream, and I would drive myself 45 minutes and pay for it,
but it was happening!

LS: And who was it who trained you?
KF: Thomas Extreme and Nick Nitro at Path of Wrestling, and special shoutout to
Jonny Ryda, who has since helped me a lot.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
KF: My brother’s best friend, who I have known since birth and is like a brother to me,
Jonny Ryda, who is a super-talented indy wrestler in the Carolinas. Also growing up,
I loved Michelle McCool, AJ Lee, Paige, and women’s wrestling in general.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
KF: I grew up playing softball since I could play t-ball, and I must say I was pretty good at it.
Every now and then, my older siblings and I will mess around with my nieces and nephew and hit
a few, and I still can hit!

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
KF: I would go to say I have the biggest heart. I love children, animals, people. There is a reason
that I have always had a career outside of wrestling in service to others. I am studying human
services, and that fits me to a ‘T’. I am a very positive person; I usually am smiling, and if I
am not, speak to me and I will.

I am the life of the party if we are at a gathering. I am super silly; I will make everyone crack up.
I am crazy and may be dancing and do not care what I look like, but I am having fun. I hate when people
degrade myself or anyone, because my big heart can be a little tender sometimes because there is so
much love in it!

Including my big heart, I am a hard worker. Outside of wrestling, I have almost completed an
associate degree (mid-May) and plan to continue my college education to complete my bachelor’s degree.
I work two jobs and have worked one of these jobs since I was 15 years old. I work for what I want,
and I take pride in that!

LS: What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?
KF: My smile, spirit, and inspirational personality to young girls, children, and others.

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
KF: I typically go to the gym and start with a 30–45-minute elliptical workout and then focus on whatever
I will be working out for the day. Whenever I do in ring workouts, I stretch, do some rope running,
figure out some new moves, run some sequences…then maybe run a match. Then we typically will finish with
some squats, push-ups, and that’s a wrap!

LS: What moves are you best known for?
KF: Formally, I was known for my bulldog and x-factor, but I will be changing those moves due to a
doctor’s advisory for my future. So, you will be seeing new things to know me for coming up!

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
KF: Yes, I have injured my knee.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
KF: Dani Fererra, Savannah Evans, Drew Hood.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
KF: Dani Fererra, she retired with me and I had no clue. She is a true baddie!

LS: What was your worst loss?
KF: Drew Hood. He and I have had quite the storyline, and it is not over. I’m still not over the fact
that he beat me in our last match.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven’t yet?
KF: I have not faced Savannah Evans one on one and would love to. We worked in a triple threat and
that was a run for my money!

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
KF: I love working tag matches, they are really fun but I am hardly in them!

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
KF: “You do what? You’re too pretty! Wait, that’s why your legs are so muscular… Woah…you are crazy!!!”
Everyone in my town knows me as “the wrestler girl.”

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
KF: I love being a positive role model to people, especially little kids and little girls because
that is something hard to find in this day in age.

LS: What are your fans like?
KF: I have the best fans. I have such wonderful supporters who stand behind me. I am blessed!

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
KF: I would remove the negativity of people just breaking down others. All around, wrestlers breaking
down other wrestlers, wrestlers being rude to fans. It’s a wonderful place a lot of times, but I hate
seeing the negative spots.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
KF: I have wrestled many times in Morrow and Hampton, Georgia for Face 2 Face Wrestling, I love that
company! I also worked for Wrestlemerica in Dothan, Alabama. I have held the Women’s title at Gaston
Championship Wrestling, and I was the champion in my hometown holding the Apple City title last year.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
KF: Women are the future of this sport! Women are just as important as men now and are proving that we
belong. We are not bra and panties match, or 5 minutes that nobody pays attention to. We are the main event now.

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?
KF: My senior year, I had my first match at my high school, and with the help of Jonny Ryda organized a
show and donated all the proceeds to veterans, and I am very proud of that. I also had another charity
show where we hosted a show for a very special student and had a HUGE show. We raised a few thousand dollars
and had a spectacular show where Daveion was able to get involved in my match and do the three count to
declare me the winner! It was a magical wrestling show. I am so grateful to have been able to have had
a small part in such a big moment.

LS: Any regrets?
KF: I would say no because God has a plan for everything.

LS: What would you do if you couldn’t be in wrestling?
KF: I would still be working and continuing my college education.

LS: What is your personal motto?
KF: Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for
thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” This means to me that no matter what, God is
with me. Whatever life throws at me, he is there.

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
KF: I just want to continue to move up in my wrestling career, inspire others, and hopefully I will
make something big out of this!

LS: Thank you for speaking with us, Kasey. Anything else you’d like to add?
KF: I am grateful for every opportunity and look forward to what the future holds!
