LADYSPORTS SPOTLIGHT Allie Parker

THE STATS:

Height: Five feet, four inches

Weight: One hundred and forty pounds

Hair: Brownie

Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada
LADYSPORTS:Welcome to LadySports, Allie! When did you first get into the sport?ALLIE PARKER:2010, but I’ve watched pro wrestling since I can remember.
Its always been a part of my life.
LS:Who trained you?AP:Ryan Taylor and Allison Danger.
LS:What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?AP:The creativity. You get to be a stunt woman, actress, and a fighter…it’s amazing!
LS:What other sports do you have an interest in?AP:MMA, dance, ice skating…actually, I like most sports and usually will play
anything.
LS:How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes,
dislikes, and strengths?AP:I’m usually too nice! I will do anything to help someone, but I also think
people underestimate me.
I don’t show people my cards, and they think things just get handed to me because I don’t announce
every step I take. But behind the scenes I work my ass off for all of the opportunities I’ve had.
NOTHING had come easy to me or has been handed to me.
LS:What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?AP:I’d say my peppy ‘sweetheart’ attitude. People love it, and that’s good
because that’s the real me shining through!
LS:Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?AP:I do it all! Right now I’m looking to burn fat, so I’ve upped my cardio, but I also do
legs, and I’m trying hard to get a good set of guns! When I’m not at the regular gym, I go to DXG Self
Defense and train in JKD, boxing, kickboxing, and jiu jitsu.
LS:How would you best describe your ring style?AP:I prefer to make someone tap, or go for a knockout… so I’d say submission specialist!
LS:What moves are you best known for?AP:I do a solid Clf Tie in the ropes. I won my fist fight in the LFC with guillotine.
LS:Have you ever been injured in the ring?AP:Not really, but I’ve had my tooth chipped twice.
LS:Who have been your toughest opponent?AP:Jennifer Thomas.
LS:What has been your most memorable win?AP:My first LFC win; I made her tap one second before the round ended with a guillotine!
LS:And what was your worst loss?AP:Anytime I get knocked out!
LS:Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven’t yet?AP:There are too many to list!
LS:What type of match do you enjoy the most?AP:Comedy! I love to be fun and entertaining.
LS:What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?AP:People are a little confused, because most women don’t do pro wrestling.
LS:What is so special about this sport to you?AP:I grew up with it, it reminds me of spending time with my family. That’s what I
hope to do for other people and their families, entertain and inspire.
LS:What are your fans like?AP:The best! They are so sweet… no matter if I win or lose, they always support me.
I’m so grateful!
LS:If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?AP:The pay! Wrestlers do so much damage to their bodies, and the pay just doesn’t
seem enough sometimes.
LS:Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?AP:I’ve wrestled mainly on the West Coast. On the East Coast I’ve wrestled in
Rhode Island and Connecticut, and more recently fought in Slovakia. No titles held.
LS:What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?AP:I think it’s great, we need more women in wrestling!
LS:What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?AP:Probably my match with Shelly Martinez in Alaska. We just had such a good time…
to this day this was my favorite match.
LS:Any regrets?AP:Only that I didn’t start earlier.
LS:What would you do if you couldn’t be in wrestling?AP:I’d be running a business. I’m working on a retail business now as we speak!
LS:What is your personal motto?AP:Dress for the part you want, not the part you have!
LS:What would make you most happy in life?AP:To be in love, and be loved back.
LS:Anything else you’d like to add?AP:Follow me on social media! Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat: @theeallieparkerLIKE ME:facebook.com/allieparkerwrestlingVisit my websiteallieparkerwrestling.com
