Tasha Simone Speaks Out

To: The Offices of The PGWA, MsChif, Josie, Susan Morton, Nikki Roxx and Anyone Else Wishing To
Ruin My New Year:
I have been wrestling for well over 10 years, and I have learned you have to take care of
yourself in this world, because no one else will. There is no such thing as loyalty in pro
wrestling, no respect and no professional courtesies afforded to anyone. You start someone from
scratch and teach them to wrestle, they forget where they came from, you take a rookie that is
green grass snot under your wing and make them a polished wrestler, they stab you in the back,
and you bust your ass for wrestling promoters and organizations and still they overlook you for
the title shots and big cards, for younger wrestlers who may not be as good as you, but they are
still “YES” girls, and do what they are told rather than what is right. Hell, websites such as
ProWrestlingDaily.com ask you to write articles for them, and even they overlook you in some
manner. My New Year has started off with a bang, but it has also been brought down by each of
these issues in one way or another, and I think! It is time to lay all of my cards on the table.
The first point I would like to make is that I have wrestled for the PGWA over the years,
stepping into the ring with any opponent they put in front of me, and made sure that the PGWA
and the fans more than got their money’s worth. Many of these matches that I competed in found
me so injured prior to the opening bell, that I would have to do what so many pro wrestler’s
have to do, take pain killers, and tape my knees up to the point I could barely feel my legs, so
that I could even make it to the ring, but I always did my job, and I never complained, usually
keeping my injuries to myself, because that is what real pro wrestlers do.
Now I have to be honest at this point and tell you that I do tend to piss off the offices of the
PGWA a great deal; I march to the beat of my own drum, I will always do things my way, and I am
very controversial, so I get punished by being cut off of big shows, being denied title shots,
such as the one Nikki Roxx was given against Pippa L’Vinn, which allowed Roxx to become the PGWA
Champion.
That title shot should have been mine, I more than earned it, I deserved it and I still do, yet
I have even been offered a shot at Roxx, but other less deserving ladies have like MsChif,
Josie, Mickie Knuckles and others. I believe I am being slighted because the PGWA is afraid of
me becoming their champion.
About three weeks ago I received a phone call from the PGWA, that eased a great deal of my
animosity toward the group, because I was being offered the inaugural match of 2007 for the
group, and after listening to who my opponent would be, and why she wanted to face me, I jumped
on the chance. I felt this was a step in the right direction for myself and the PGWA, a group
that I disagree with a great deal, but have much respect for; however, the step in the right
direction turned into one big swerve.
Right after the announcement of my match with MsChif was made, Little Ms. Josie decided to one
up me and called the offices of the PGWA, weaseling her way into having a match 2 weeks before
mine with Susan Morton, stating 2007 would be her year. Once again the PGWA is pushing me to the
side, but this time I am putting my foot down, I am changing my gameplan, and the rules, because
the way I see, they didn’t put the ball in my court and this time I am taking it back, and I am
starting with MsChif.
Ah yes, MsChif, a young lady claiming to be from Dante’s Inferno, yet somehow, we are signed to
wrestle one another because she has a heart hidden deep within. You see last year, I wrestled a
young woman by the name of Rebecca Raze for the PGWA, Raze just happens to be a former student
of MsChif’s, and it would seem that MsChif didn’t like what I had to say about her former
student, nor did she like how I treated Raze in the ring, since Raze refuses to wrestle me now,
her teacher has decided to defend her honor. The information that I received during my talk with
the PGWA was that MsChif had been wanting this match for sometime, however, due to her booking
schedule, it just wasn’t possible, and the minute she had an open date, she contacted the
offices of the PGWA, knowing they would make it happen.
I have spent the last couple of weeks watching film of MsChif, and she is not as scary as she
seems; take away the green hair, the screaming, and the green mist, and she is just a girl that
wrestles, and I still see many flaws in her gameplan in the ring.
When MsChif and I meet in the ring, it will not be a pretty match, I intend to out wrestle her
first, ground her from having a gymnastics meet in a wrestling ring, and then if I’m in a really
bad mood, and I am sure that I will be, I’m going to teach her how to really brawl. As to the
green mist she likes to spray in opponent’s faces, if she tries that crap with me, I will make
her choke on it, because I am not the little girls she is accustomed to competing against, so
she better bring her ‘A’ game and be prepared for one hell of a fight. When the dust settles and
the smoke clears on this one, it will be sheer luck that will leave the building intact, much
less MsChif, myself and the ring.
Now then, Little Ms. Josie, your attempt at oneupsmanship, pissed off the wrong person!!! Honey,
who has the first or last match of the year isn’t what counts, who has the most MEMORABLE match
of the year is what will matter, and you can take this to the bank…MsChif and I will tear the
roof off the Stadium Inn on January 26!
Josie, I want you to read this real carefully, too: I am an NWA ladies champion, just as you
are, and after I finish with MsChif, I invite you to climb in what is left of the ring and I
will take you on right then and there! I am sure you don’t have the guts to do that, though.
Hmm, seems you have a case of Alligator Mouth/Humming Bird Behind…don’t worry though, when we
meet in the ring, and we will, I guarantee I’ll cure your Gator/Birdie condition for you.
Now I am sure that many of you are wondering what Susan Morton has to do with this, right? Well,
this broad seems to think she is Billie Bad Ass too, and has contacted via email challenging me
to a match, and even offered to put her title on the line, the same title she refused to defend
against Josie. WTF, do all of these broads think they are going to make a name for themselves
because I am older and was out for a few months from knee surgery? If that is the case they need
to do a little research on me, because I refuse to be anyone’s stepping stone, this time, I
intend to use these ladies as my stepping stones!!!
Oh my, I almost forgot…Karen Belcher and ProWrestlingDaily.com, I was about to leave you out,
but you too deserve a bit of my wrath. Why? This whole “Most Promising Wrestler” poll, wtf? Now
if these women were all rookies I wouldn’t be so pissed, but come on, they have all been
wrestling for sometime now, and here I am having made a comeback after having to have knee
reconstruction, and taking a few matches throughout 2006, including a hardcore match against the
“Golden Girl” Christie Ricci for her NWA Ladies World Title, directly after wrestling Lexie Fyfe
for the #1 contendership, with only a 5 minute rest between the matches, yet you think I offer
no promise to do great things in wrestling in 2008. This is pathetic, I can’t even get respect
from a website that I write for, now I know how Rodney Dangerfield, feels.
I am tired of being overlooked, swerved, and disrespected, I have given my heart and soul to
professional wrestling, because I truly love this sport. This time, I really am taking what I
feel is rightfully mine!!! I use to tell opponents and fans alike that winning or losing had no
relevance to me, I only wanted to injure my opponent, but everything evolves, and my opinion of
winning and losing has certainly evolved.
So to the PGWA, ProWrestlingDaily, MsChif, Josie, Susan Morton, and especially you Nikki Roxx,
mark this down in your books: Tasha Simone is not going to have her day, she is going to have
her year; I still want to injure my opponents, but now, I want to leave them lying a pool of
defeat. I have always stated that title belts don’t make the wrestler spectacular; I don’t need
a title, but I do want one…the one Nikki Roxx is wearing! And I will do whatever I have to
do, and go through whoever I have to go through to get it, because 2007 WILL BE MY YEAR!!!
Love, Peace and Pain,
Tasha Simone
