Zip Ponders a Comeback

There was good news for wrestling fans recently when Zip announced that she was planning her comeback to the squared circle soon! That revelation was certainly greeted happily by LadySports fans, who recall Zip's hellacious battles with Dixie and Maria Montana in the PGWA ring.

In explaining her ring absence, the Floridian said, "Life has been crazy, and I think the fans deserve to know what's happening in my life. I just moved to Tampa this past Christmas. My sister asked me to be her roommate while she goes for her Masters degree... she's only 21, and super smart!”

But there's also the matter of her physical condition after so many months out of wrestling: "I have gained weight, but I'm taking the opportunity here in Tampa to make a lifestyle change. I am now dieting and working out five days a week, and will eventually increase that to six days a week. I want to get in top-notch shape before I get back in the ring!”

Intriguingly, Zip hasn't merely announced her plan to return…she's also putting out a call to her fans to help retool her image to create Zip 2.0, if you will.

"I need help from all of you. I am going to do things a bit differently this time. I want to know what YOU want to see in the ring from me! I'm talking about everything from my outfits, my finishing moves…maybe even a new name for myself, too!”

"I intend to make myself a wrestler whom the fans want to come and see. I will consider all suggestions and comments, and from them try and create a unique mixture that will help me become a well-rounded wrestler.”

It's a rare thing for a wrestler to turn to their fans this way, but it only underscores how serious Zip is about making herself the best wrestler she possibly can, and giving the fans their money's worth.
