Q&A: VYPER

The Sunshine State has a venomous serpent in its midst, and she doesn’t care who she has to sink her fangs into in order to get ahead. Vyper shares her thoughts with LadySports Online in this exclusive new interview!

LADYSPORTS: When did you first get into the sport?
VYPER: I watched wrestling on TV and couldn't sit on the sidelines.

LS: Who trained you?
V: A bunch of different people.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
V: Edge…he is an amazing talent.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?

V: Hockey.

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
V: I'm tough...I've put up with a lot of stuff in my days, and always came through it. I'm also very mysterious...you never know what I'm thinking....

LS: What are you favorite foods, music, clothes, cars?
V: Favorite foods...I love chicken. I love rice cakes with cheese on top…YUM! Music... I love classic rock; Queen is my favorite band. Clothes...I love the corset look, not as a pin up girl, or a Goth, but as a Vyper look. Cars...what are those?

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
V: I love to walk...feeling the rush of wind on my face. Walking has everything working. And I just adore the feeling.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
V: I'm a hard ass...a speedy rough neck, if you will.

LS: What moves are you best known for?
V: The Spear and the Vyper-Eyezer.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
V: Everything is an injury...you just have to grit your teeth and go with it.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
V: People-wise…no one. I'd love to have a match with someone tough as nails.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
V: My first match against Angel.

LS: What was your worst loss?
V: Haven't lost in a long time.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
V: Victoria and/or Edge.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
V: TLC, Elimination Chamber...I'd love to be in those matches as well.

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
V: “Really? That's awesome...I can see you doing that!”

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
V: My grandfather was a fan. So, I know he would be so excited to have a wrestler in the family.

LS: What are your fans like?
V: They F*CKING ROCK!

LS: What is the one thing you would most like to change about the sport?
V: Less bra and panties and more WRESTLING.

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
V: Get rid of that dumb Diva Search.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
V: No titles as of yet...but I hear the WWE women's is vacant.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
V: I think if they can deliver the moves well…and work their asses off…then more power to them.

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?
V: Meeting Fusion.

LS: Any regrets?
V: Not one.

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
V: Hmm, Maybe be a kindergarten teacher. I love kids.

LS: What is your personal motto?
V: Never give up!

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
V: To marry my fiancé and work for TNA.
