LADYSPORTS: Welcome to LadySports, Sahara. When did you first get into the sport?
SAHARA SE7EN: One year, six months ago.

LS: And who trained you?
SS: Sean and Mark Denny (The Geordie Bulldogs).

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
SS: I always watched wrestling and used to get beat up by the boys in the family while watching it, so I had to learn some moves of my own. Then it became a passion. I always wanted to be a cross breed between my favorites, Scott Hall and Lisa Marie Varon.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
SS: I have played basketball my whole life.

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
SS: I am a very nice girl with a huge personality. I believe in respect, determination, karma, positive vibes and hard work. I dislike lazy arrogant people and bullies. Bullies are a big No-No for me!

LS: What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?
SS: I think it's my temper and aggressive behavior in the ring.

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
SS: Well, in training we start with warm-ups to keep cardio up and get the blood flowing. After that there are in-ring drills and running the ropes, followed by in-ring skills. When I work out in the gym, I’m working on my core and arm strength, as well as a full body workout.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
SS: I would describe it best as American strong style wrestling

LS: What moves are you best known for?
SS: I have my submission, which is called the ‘Pyramid of Pain’, and my finisher, the ‘Fall of an Empire’.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
SS: Nothing other than a sprained ankle.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
SS: Sean Denny and Roni Nicole.

LS: Who are your allies?
SS: Aja Perrera, Ashley Frost , Chasity Ann Taylor.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
SS: Pinning Ashley Frost in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on our all-girls tour.

LS: What was your worst loss?
SS: I think my worst lost had to be losing to innocent Isaiah at GXW in Richmond, Virginia.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
SS: I would love to face Melina.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
SS: I enjoy No Disqualification matches.

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
SS: The most popular response is "Really? You are too pretty for that. No way!" Almost a mix of disbelief and excitement.

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
SS: It is a sport about respect. Respect is a big thing for me.

LS: What are your fans like?
SS: My fans are sweethearts who are strong-minded and strong-willed.

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
SS: I would do everything in my power to show that women are just as good as men, not just eye candy.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
SS: AML, SPW, NEW, PWF, CWE, SWE. I’m the current #1 Contender for The PWF Women's Title, and also the #1 Contender for The SWE Women's Title.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
SS: I'm excited! It's all about girl power. I'm always happy to see another women make it. It's women out here actually proving we can wrestle, or maybe out-wrestle the guys.

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?
SS: My most unforgettable moment would be getting booked to preform my craft at Wrestlecade 2015 in front of a capacity crowd, as well as Legends and Superstars of Today and Tomorrow.

LS: Any regrets?
SS: I have no regrets

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
SS: Nothing. This is it…wrestling is my life.

LS: What is your personal motto?
SS: No weapon formed against me shall prosper, for pain is inevitable and suffering is optional but I shall walk by faith not by sight.

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
SS: To be able to make wrestling my only job.

LS: Thank you, Sahara. Anything else you'd like to add?
SS: Namasté.
