CHALLENGED ACCEPTED!

Roxx to Fight L’Vinn for the Belt

Within hours of LadySports Online posting the story of Pippa L’Vinn’s disparaging remarks about American wrestlers, the PGWA Office received the following Email:

“I was furious when I read what L’Vinn had said! She’s always been arrogant and snobby, but at least she seemed to have some respect for her peers. But now, it looks as if being the champion has gone to her head.

She says she’s not going to bother to come back to America to defend her belt again? From what I’ve heard, the PGWA had to practically drag her across the ocean in the past to get her to live up to her championship responsibilities, so I’m not surprised she’s refusing to return.

She also says that she’s beaten all of the American wrestlers who could give her a serious challenge. Well, you know what? She hasn’t beaten me yet…and she’s never going to!

It’s time that the PGWA had a fighting champ again, someone like Susan Green or Leilani Kai, who weren’t afraid to put the belt on the line against anyone, anytime. So, in that spirit, I intend to go to Manchester, England on the 23rd to challenge Pippa L’Vinn for the PGWA title.

I’ve already bought my ticket and I‘m ready to do. I’m obviously praying that the PGWA will sanction this championship match. But even if you don’t, I still intend to beat her, and therefore make myself the Number One Contender for the title.

I’m making this promise right now to the PGWA and to all of the fans…I will go to England, I will beat L’Vinn, and I WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND BRING IT HOME TO AMERICA!

Love,

Nikki Roxx”

We were more than a little surprised to learn that Nikki intends to fight Pippa for the belt. It’s not as if Roxx… the 2004 Most Promising Wrestlers, not to mention the Lucha Libre Femenil Juvenile Champion…isn’t more than qualified, and she’s certainly been on just about everyone’s short list of worthy contenders. It’s simply that no one in the PGWA realized she could be passionate enough to drop her schedule, book a flight, and make her challenge to the Champ face to face. But if this is any indication of the kind of passion she’ll bring to the match, we’re confident that Nikki Roxx will give Pippa L’Vinn all of the fight she can handle!

Commissioner Penny Banner has already been contacted and has said she will officially sanction this as a title match… provided L’Vinn accepts the challenge. LadySports Online will keep the fans updated as news develops.
