NIKKI ROXX & ARIANNA: INTERNATIONAL FEUD!

The latest from the LLF!

Newly arrived from Portugal, Arianna knew she needed to make an ally in the LLF, someone with the skill to help Arianna achieve her goal of making it to the top of the Mexican league. Nikki Roxx, also a newcomer to the LLF, has quickly become one of the favorites of the fans. Arianna proposed to Nikki that they form a tag team, and the young blond agreed.

The newly formed partnership, allied with Luna Mágica, debuted on Friday, September 3rd in the Arena Femenil Monterrey, where they faced the trio of Princess Sugey, Polly Star and Martha la Sarapera in a Six Woman Tag Match. The newcomers had high hopes at the start of the match for victory, but as the bout unfolded, in became painfully obvious that Arianna and Nikki did not mesh as partners. Their styles did not compliment one another, their timing was off, and before long, they didn't even bother to help each other out. Luna did her best to carry the team, but in the end, it was their opponents who walked out of the ring with the win.

But Roxx and Arianna walked out of that ring with something as well... a seething animosity for one another! As far as each wrestler was concerned, it was the other who let the team down and cost them the match, and both were resolved to never be partners again. And when LLF officials suggested they meet in a match of their own, both women readily agreed.

Two days later in the Arena Coliseo Monterrey, the most historic wrestling venue in the city, Nikki Roxx and Arianna faced each other in a One Fall Match. Nikki, enjoying her status as a fan favorite, was definitely the good girl of the fight, while Arianna seemed to truly revel in being the "ruda"...the heel.

After a particularly bruising battle, Arianna got the pin on Roxx...although not without some serious rulebreaking on the part of the Portuguese grappler. The masked woman repeated her victory...again with the help of much illegal activity...on Tuesday the 7th in a rematch at the Arena Coliseo Monterrey. Still, despite the back-to-back wins over the American, Arianna was furious to find that the fans seemed to love Nikki more than ever!

On Wednesday, Nikki and Arianna were guests on the 'Llaves y Candados' radio show, and the phone lines were jammed with LLF fans, who heaped universal praise on Roxx, insisting that, despite the loses, Nikki was still the better wrestler, and verbally attacking Arianna by saying that she couldn't possibly beat the blond without resorting to rulebreaking. When the program was over, the enraged Arianna stormed out of the studio and vowed that she would beat Nikki Roxx one more time, and beat her so badly that the blond would quit the sport in shame!

A third match was scheduled between them on September 12, again at the Arena Coliseo, and this time the LLF put the Campeonato Juvenil title on the line. Both wrestlers, understanding full well the importance of this fight, used the occasion to debut new ring outfits. This only added to the fever pitch of the fans, who were expecting a truly colossal battle...and the fans weren't disappointed!

Nikki and Arianna fought in what the reporters afterward called one of the most excellent matches in the LLF's recent history. Arianna, as expected, bent and broke the rules as she saw fit, but perhaps stung by the criticisms that she was not as skilled as Roxx, she also used more technical moves in this match than in the previous two. It proved to be a titanic battle between two incredible athletes, and when the end finally came...with Nikki pinning Arianna with a roll up...the crowd exploded with cheers!

So Nikki Roxx now not only claims the Juvenil title (adding to her collection of gold, as she also holds the LLF Tag Team crown with Diana la Cazadora), but she has redeemed her honor and gotten her vengeance on Arianna.

But the Portuguese doesn't plan to let the rivalry rest. She's already demanded a rematch, and Nikki has granted her one for later in October.
