A fantastic audience turnout for todays show. The crowd were treated to yet another spectacular event
of ladies pro and mat based wrestling.
Mat Based Contest: 15 minutes duration: Dynamo v Carmen:
Berkshire's Dynamo was first to emerge from the locker room. Always a favourite with the audience and
making a welcome return since "Winter Wars".
Her opponent, one of 4 debutants today: Carmen.
After a fierce clinch, Dynamo - always very vocal - shouted: "She aint going to be nice". However,
the Wokingham lady did take the first pin. Carmen came back and applied a strong waist grip then neck
hold. Dynamo was still keeping the audience entertained with her comments: "Is she ticklish?".
Both girls locked up and remained on their feet whilst applying wrist locks and arm bars. Carmen
squeezed Dynamo expertly and was easing her way back into the contest. Dynamo had Carmen in a
scissors then facesit followed by a superb leg lock. Sporting handshakes were given throughout
this entertaining bout. Carmens' fierce determination was shown to the full when she put pressure
on Dynamo via a headlock, exclaiming: "Ref do you want her to give?". "Not likely!" was Dynamo's
plucky response. Though, Carmen was steadfastly refusing to release the hold in her gutsy,
take no prisoners performance. A lively opener concluded with a 4-1 victory.
Pro Style Contest: 15 minutes duration: Kayleigh Ray v AyeSha Ray:
Next up, the first pro match of the day.
Kayeigh Ray from Linwood,Scotland displayed amazing red hair and a vibrant green 2 piece outfit.
The "Female Predator Amazon" - AyeSha Ray faced her in a denim look one piece costume, with black
tights underneath. Ms Ray faced Ms Ray - the debut lady looked an awesome sight as she towered over
Kayleigh and sought to make her mark straight away by slamming down her authority. A painful waist
hold sent the Scottish lady clambering to the ropes. AyeSha followed up by acquiring a 2 count and
near fall, giving her opponent ferocious looks! Kayleigh had not travelled from Scotland just to make
up ther numbers though and threw a hip toss into the mix, gaining a 2 count on her follow up.
AyeSha sought to gain retribution by attempting to literally squeeze the life out of Kayleigh with
a scissors. Kayleigh - after forcing her way out - became trapped in the turnbuckle and was thrown
into it a further 3 times before retaliation with a drop kick to her larger adversary.
The match was developing into a virtual test of strength and dexterity as both ladies probed for
the victory.
This marvellous bout was concluded following a spectacular splash off the top rope and follow up pin.
Mat Based Contest: 15 minutes duration: Inferno v Kelly:
A return to Mat Based Action next as Inferno took to the ring to face the next new girl to the
Wrestling Factory: Kelly. Both ladies were adorned in black outfits, Inferno in a top and briefs
whilst blonde Kelly elected for a nicely cut one piece swimsuit.
As the action unfolded it became apparent that this was going to be a fun bout.
The girls were of similar height and stature and both appeared very flexible and nimble.
Inferno was first to score via submission. Kelly attempted to pull back the deficit with a superb
takedown and scissors and acquired a couple of 2 counts.
Both Inferno and Kelly certainly looked to be enjoying their match as they became entwined in a
tangled mass; Kelly eventually emerged from their tight clinch to pull the score back to 1-1.
A stangle hold was applied to Inferno who responded swiftly with a nice takedown, via a headlock.
The action continued thick and fast with both girls pegging each other back. Inferno showed fierce
resistance when asked to submit in a persistent arm lock.
At 2 falls each, Kelly took the offensive role, though, Inferno was able to resist brilliantly.
The scoring continued right up until the end of this bout - a very evenly fought contest.
Pro Style Contest: 15 minutes duration: Viper v Sarah:
A clash of the Scots in a pro style match next.
Viper opened up straight away, subtly letting Sarah know who was boss, forcing her fellow country
girl into the turnbuckle immediately.
The relentless onslaught continued with a powerful clothesline and follow up that forced a 2 count.
Sarah resisted Viper's strenuous holds, until another clothesline from Viper threatened to break
Sarah's resolve. Though on the backfoot at this stage of the match, Sarah was hanging in there!
Indeed, after an impresive reversal, Sarah started to gain in stature; no doubt having her confidence
boosted by her reluctance to be dominated by Viper's early pressure. Viper was still in the ascendancy
and continued to severely test Sarah's endurance. A vicious and powerful looking stranglehold was next
on the agenda for Viper to apply onto her stubborn opponent, before resorting to her earlier ploy of
launching Sarah into the turnbuckles, followed by take downs.
The match concluded via submission near the 15 minute time limit.
Mat Based Contest: 15 minutes duration: Shelby Beach v Foxy:
The blonde bombshell Shelby Beach opposed the fourth debutant of the day: Foxy.
Shelby entered the ring in a cloak which, when removed, revealed a red bikini, whilst Foxi wore an
all in one black outfit.
The match started slowly with both ladies seeking each other out. Shelby's attempt to take her
opponent down was cleverly thwarted by Foxy who, in turn, collected the first pin, via 3 count.
Shelby recovered sufficiently from this early setback to attempt to break down her adversary by
applying a series of wrist locks. This proved successful as she equalled the scoring at 1-1.
The bout then took on a pattern of scores: Shelby advanced into a 2-1 lead, via tap out from Foxy.
However, the new girl came back and levelled the contest at 2-2, via a cross body press.
Going into the final stages left the audience wondering who would claim the honours: Shelby's
experience versus Foxy's strength?
The bout concluded with a 5-2 victory - a fascinating display by both ladies that received warm
applause from the crowd.
INTERVAL
Pro Style Tag Match: 15 minutes duration: Carmel & Shelly Star v Kayleigh Ray & Sarah:
An all Scottish encounter featured 4 lovely ladies always, welcome to the Wrestling Factory.
The combatants were very colourful: Kayleigh and Sarah wearing similar 2 piece outfits in a vibrant
blue with purple trim. Carmel's lively green attire proudly displayed her name on both her top
and briefs. Shelly wore a black and pink combination, further enhanced by a small chain linking her
skimpy trunks to her colourful boot covers.
Carmel faced Sarah firstly, with Carmel on the offensive from the off. Successful reversals and
counters from Sarah followed as Carmel invited Shelly into the action, via a swift tag.
A series of holds and roll outs were played out as both girls sought the advantage. Kayleigh was
tagged in and immediately had Shelly in a compromising stranglehold before she was able to release
herself and tag in Carmel.
The action continued at a furious pace as Carmel had Kayleigh in a turnbuckle - a cracking match
was unfolding before us!
Continuous tags were made to freshen up the action. Shelly obtained 2 separate 2 counts on Sarah
before she was able to scramble to her colleague: Kayleigh.
Ms Ray forced an incredible drop kick and near pin before Sarah was tagged back in. Shelly was
on the receiving end of a powerful body slam and near pin from the tireless Sarah.
It was hard to take your eyes off the action with the 4 girls giving their all to become the
Pride of Scotland. A conclusive pin determined the outcome of this superb bout.
Pro Style Contest: 15 minutes duration: AyeSha Ray v Shelby Beach:
This match promised to be a mouth watering contest with the mighty AyeSha taking on Shelby Beach.
AyeSha leapt straight for Shelby with a no-nonsense approach as the blonde Wigan lady was still
geeing up the audience !
The fiery Ms Ray grabbed Shelby with a waistlock - cleverly countered, then, in turn locked up
with same hold again. Both ladies were weighing each other up with a succession of holds and reversals
with both seeking a chink in the others' armour to gain an advantage. Shelby planted a Stacey Keibler
style foothold to AyeSha in the turnbuckle as the atmosphere intensified. AyeSha
applied a questionable hold that only seemed to raise Shelby's game as she planted a figure 4 leg
lock on her larger opponent. This proved inconclusive as Ms Beach was slammed to the canvas then was
held on the ropes. AyeSha was on the receiving end of a camel clutch and 2 count as Shelby continued
to try to conquer her. However, AyeSha Ray is not called "Female Predator Amazon" for nothing as
she gripped Shelby in a single leg Boston. A dramatic piledriver and pin settled the match close
to the time duration.
A brilliant and bruising battle !
Mat Based Contest: 15 minutes duration:
Inferno v Carmen:
Both girls returned for their second contest of the day. Inferno wore a sexy, well cut gold
spandex-look outfit, whilst Carmen looked equally striking in a lovely pink bikini.
As with her previous match, Carmen lost the first fall early on. She appeared not to be
flustered by this temporary setback and came back at her red head rival, retaliating positively.
She quickly reinstated the scoring to 1-1, via a tap out from Inferno.
Inferno emerged determined and focused and forced a number of clever scissors, severely testing
Carmen's resolve and strength. The girls were locked together, neither of them budging until
Carmen relinquished, exclaiming: "flipping heck"....or words to that effect !
Undeterred, she came storming back and, levelled up the scoring once more at 2-2 with a superb
scissors hold. The action continued thick and fast as this was developing into one of the best and
closest bouts of the entire show. As the minutes ticked by both girls succeeded in achieving further
pins, as the final phase of the contest had each lady with 4 pins each.
An all out confrontation for victory fascinated the onlooking audience as one wrestler took
things into her own hands - literally - forcing a wedgie and almost exposing her opponent.
An enjoyable and very evenly matched contest.
Pro.Style Contest: 15 minutes duration: Pippa L'Vinn v Shelly Star:
At last, the familiar entrance music indicated that the one and only Pippa L'Vinn was on her way
to the ring !
Pippa climbed through the ropes acknowledging the cheers from the crowd, dressed in a beautiful
blue swimsuit adorned with white stars....would her opponent be seeing stars within the next 15
minutes? Shelly Star was her opposite for this pro match, once again in her black and pink top
and small briefs. The glamorous show host was as quick as a hiccup, forcing the issue from her
Scottish counterpart immediately. With lightning speed she attacked Shelly's arms in a swift attempt
to weaken her. Pippa looked hungry for action with determined eyes and, dictated all of the early
exchanges. Shelly, not to be outdone applied a great toss. Pippa came back and gained a near fall,
via 2 count. Ms Star repeated her previous hold, just to let Pippa know that this was not going to
be a one sided affair. Ms L'Vinn looked confident and displayed all of her experience and ring craft,
before becoming increasingly frustrated by a couple of 2 counts - challenging referee Billy -suggesting
that his counts were too slow. Pippa then had Shelly in a dazzling aeroplane spin and drop before
blowing kisses to the appreciative audience. As before and, with the upmost credit, Shelly took her
punishment and was still active in the match... could a shock result possibly be on the cards ?
Pippa was focused and pulling out every hold in the book, a surfboard followed which made her shout
"No way on earth she can walk after that!". To Pippa's bewilderment not only did Shelly still remain a
threat but, defiantly rolled up Pippa for an attempted small package, cleverly reversed.
This highly entertaining match appeared to be concluded with a spectacular pin but, as the victor
took the plaudits from the crowd, and with some controversy, a sudden announcement from the MC -
after close consultation with referee Billy - declared a disqualification...
Pro. Style Contest: 15 minutes duration: Viper v Carmel:
Viper confidently strode to the ring for the next match, wearing her traditional wrestling attire of
black leotard, tights and boots. Carmel was her opponent, making this another clash of the Scots !
Viper's immense strength naturally contributed to her looking to be the favourite to win this bout.
As we all know with Pro. Wrestling and, indeed, most sports, nothing is certain. Carmel in her colourful
green 2 piece costume and effective matching eye make-up was in no way threatened by her fellow country
woman. She extended a handshake to Viper - big mistake ! Viper thwarted this act of friendship and
laid into her. Carmel was on the ropes - literally - as Viper looked to be finishing this bout early.
Carmel, though, is one tough cookie and took her punishment impressively, the consummate professional
that she is.
Viper refused to become frustrated by her antagonist's stubborn refusal to lie down and body slammed
Carmel to the deck. This was followed up with an impressive splash. This appeared to be the way forward
to break Carmel down as she continued to work her over... One lady pulled out a sudden victory, via a
roll up, well within the time limit.
Mat Based Contest: 15 minutes duration: Dynamo v Kelly:
Dynamo returned to action in today's penultimate match in a fitted black one piece costume, cut low
at the back to display her colourful array of tattoos. Her blonde opponent Kelly entered the ring in
a pretty pink bikini. After an initial friendly exchange, the bell rang to start the match. The
crowd's quiet ambience reflected the mood of intense concentration in the ring.
Both girls, though focused and determined did allow an element of fun into the holds
and manouevres. Dynamo, as before, providing us with great entertainment in her one liners and banter
such as " you whinge all you like love" to Kelly, as she took the first submission.
Kelly came back and, as with Carmen in her bouts, seemed to gain strength from the adversity of
going behind in the match. She gained a 2 count and began to really force the issue with Dynamo just
preventing a couple of close submissions. This fascinating and very enjoyable contest concluded with
a narrow 2-1 victory.
Rumble:
The final match of this enthralling show was the traditional Rumble - the last girl standing would be
declared the winner. No prizes, no gimmicks, just an all out battle of strength, cunning and ingenuity
as each lady was all out for herself.
There were to be 8 competing wrestlers in all.
Viper locked up against Carmel at first followed at 30 second intervals by: Sarah, AyeSha Ray,
Pippa L'Vinn, Kayleigh Ray, Shelby Beach and, last but not least - Shelly Star. The action was fast
and furious; girls were thrown, pushed, shoved and removed from the ring in whichever way possible...
until only 1 was remaining to claim the victory !
Summary:
This wonderfully entertaining show had everything (and more) one could ask for - intense Mat Based
action that really caught the imagination, complemented by fast paced Pro.style excitement. Time and
again this event has such a high audience turnout as people just love showtime at the Wrestling Factory.
Some superb performances, including exciting, eye-catching debuts from the new girls Carmen, AyeSha
Ray, Kelly, and Foxy; hopefully they will all return to the show very soon.
Yet again another magnificent triumph for all who took part and especially to Pippa.
One can only fully appreciate how hard this wonderful lady works when you are present at a live event.
Arranging, performing, hosting and looking after all of the girls on the card plus, she always takes
time out for her audience as well.
Not only is she without doubt the hardest working wrestler in the UK but, the loveliest person you
could ever wish to meet. For those of us fortunate enough to have witnessed the action - we all felt
honoured just to have been there. For anyone who missed the show - do the next best thing and buy the
DVD - you will not be disappointed and come along next time - I guarantee you will be hooked, we all are !
A Special Thank You to Pippa and all of her team who work so hard to bring us such wonderful entertainment...
