LadySports ::: Holiday Wishes

HOLIDAY WISHES

Once again this year, LadySports Online is happy to bring you special greetings from a number of the sport’s most exciting ladies. And we here at LadySports are particularly looking forward to 2007, because it marks the PGWA’s 15th Anniversary!
So, from all of us to all of you, have a wonderful holiday season, and a happy and healthy New Year!
Let’s start the well-wishing with words from a longtime friend of the PGWA. Like the lady herself, the message is quick, direct and honest:

"Thank you so very much...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! You all are the best! Thanks for a great year!
Love,
Maria Montana”

And now from a brand new friend of the PGWA come these sentiments:

"Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Keep your loved once close and cherish every moment that is spent with them. May everyone’s hopes and dreams be fulfilled!
All the best from...
Veronika Vice”

And not to be outdone in terms of either a warm expression or an alliterative name, this comes from a woman who may not have been in the ring for a few years now, but she still keeps a close eye on the sport, and she’s never forgotten her fans:

"Merry, Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to all of the wrestling fans! I hope you all have a very safe holiday and a wonderful 2007!!!
Love to all...
Brittany Brown”

Heading across the ocean, we hear from a couple of lovely lasses in Great Britain . First, from another good friend of ours:

"I wish you all a good Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will be doing loads more wrestling in 2007, so look out for that. Thank you for all of your support over the last year...all the best to you!!!
Love and headlocks,
Shelby Beach

And another Englishwoman who has endeared herself to LadySports readers isn’t shy about both spreading goodwill and setting a lofty...yet entirely admirable...goal for herself:

"Hi everyone! What a year 2006 has been! I hope you’ll all agree its been another great one for all of the hard working ladies of the PGWA...and of course myself!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, and wishing you all a prosperous New year.
I’d like to thank you all for your kind words and support throughout the past year. I hope 2007 is just as exciting for me as it will be for you (because, let’s face it...whenever I’m around, it’s ALWAYS exciting!). And I hope next year brings me a little closer to all of you and to my goal of conquering America .
Take care,
Skye”

Next, the English are further represented with remarks from one of the most exciting young newcomers in the sport today:

"Just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and also I want to thank LadySports fans who have supported me through 2006. Please continue to support the women of the PGWA, and hopefully 2007 will be the year of the Rox!
With love from...
Roxi

And keeping it short and simple... two things she herself certainly isn’t... is another newcomer to the ring wars:
"Hey, hope ya all have a great Christmas and a fab New Year!
Love,
Courtney Synn

A quick trip across the Irish Sea brings us to a wrestler who, unfortunately, has been sidelined recently with a serious injury, but she’s not letting that dampen her Christmas spirit...or lessening her dedication to get back into the ring soon:

"What’s the craic all you good wrestling fanfolk out there? Hope you all have a handy dandy Christmas and a supafly deadly Happy New Year!
Cheers a bundle for all your support while I’ve been out with my injury...your support means the world to me. You’ll get good karma at Christmas, and Santa’s gonna bring y’all exactly what you want, ‘cause I told him if he doesn’t, he’s cruisin’ for a bruisin’!
Take it easy folks.

The K-nox
Rebecca Knox”

Back over here in America , we still have some ladies who have the spirit of the season, and who want to share it with the fans. This young lady has found herself wrestling with her own dark side of late, but her innate kindness and decency seem to be reemerging. Perhaps it’s a Christmas miracle?

"I for one hope everyone gets what they want, and has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Much love,
Scarlett Rose”

Interestingly, Scarlett’s bête noire expresses much the same sentiment. Yet when she says it, she sounds more like the Grinch than Santa Clause:

"Here’s to always getting what you want for the holidays, no matter how much work it will take. And especially, no matter what the cost. It all pays off in the end.
As for the future, in 2007 I see myself here, making my impact on future generations of female wrestlers who aren’t afraid to embrace my awesomeness. As for the fans...well, I promise a few surprises.
But know it’s ALWAYS about...
Camron Star”

There’s been a veritable explosion of fresh young talent in recent years, and one of the most impressive is this lovely young lady, who’s always willing to take the time to express her gratitude to her public:

"Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all of you! Thank you so much guys for all of your support this year. Here’s to wishing 2007 is an even better year, and ‘ Sparks Will Fly’ even higher!
Much love,
Kayla Sparks”

A woman who is never afraid to speak her mind...and who can pack a verbal wallop in her words almost as devastating as the ones she throws with her fists...wasn’t about to miss this opportunity to speak to the fans, and pass on a little message:

"To all of my fans, I wish the best for you and your families for the holidays. To those of you who don’t appreciate my evil talents, and to the offices of the PGWA who continue to overlook me, may Santa fill all of your stockings with coal, and leave a bag of switches under the Christmas tree for you.
Love, Peace and Pain,
Tasha Simone
P.S. I hope that everyone’s New Year is as productive as this past year has been for me.”

And speaking of women who don’t hold back their opinions, here are some words from someone who knows exactly what she wants to find under her Christmas tree this year:

"2006 was indeed a fantastic year for me, and I do want to thank everyone at the PGWA for being a huge part of it. The response to my appearances for the PGWA have been tremendous, and I want to give a huge shout out to all of my fans!
2007 looks to be another great year. I promise I will be even more focused on becoming the best wrestler I can be. So for Christmas, all I’ve asked Santa for is a shot at Nikki Roxx’s PGWA Championship. If Santa knows what’s good for him, he will bring her to me with a pretty bow on top.
Josie”

And last...but most definitely NOT least...we close out our holiday messages with warm words from the woman who is not only the PGWA Commissioner, and not only a bona fide Living Legend of Professional Wrestling, but also someone who is courageously battling against terrific odds, but who intends to fight on until the ref raises her hand in victory once again!

"Hello and Merry Christmas to each and all of you! I want to personally thank you for your support and prayers throughout the year, and wish you a very Merry Christmas and a holiday season full of good health, happiness and LOTS of love!
Kisses and hugs,
Penny Banner”

And from those of us here at LadySports, thank you all for your continued support, and we’re looking forward to continuing to bring you some of the very best in QUALITY Women’s Professional Wrestling in the year ahead!
