PIPPA'S WRESTLING CLASS ONE ON ONE. Pippa Teaches Simone as described by Pippa L'Vinn The first pic is where i am showing Simone one the best ways in which to hold the grip. Rather than holding one's other wrist it is always better if you can the grip fingers into each other. ie for a headlock. Also with this grip you can hide your thumbs inside the fingers which stops the hand from being vulnerable to the opponant. . Simone has me on my stomach with both legs crossed and she is putting pressure on forcing the feet down into my back thus making me stay on the ground ready for her to make her next move. She then turns her back to me but keeping one of her legs locked infront of my exposed foot. Then you a.re4 able to do a varied array of holds from this position. Simone chooses to take my arms and thus working on on the back area (spine) this would cause a submission or at the very least a weakener. One of my favourite holds is the camel clutch. Great submission move/ weakener. Simone straddles my back and lifts both arms over her knees thus locking the arms in and therefore Simone's hands are free to take the chin and lift the head back ensuring that both her elbows dig into the top of the shoulder blades. This causes the back to arch and cause major pain and possible long term damage. Following on from a camel clutch. If you can't get your opponant to submit then all you have to do is slide your body from their back to their right side but never releasing the arms. Keep your legs wrapped around the arms in a scissors position. Then all you have to do is rotate your body towards their head thus causing severe pain to the upper shoulders. Or you can put a back hammer on the left arm or a very simple wrist lock. Asess the situation as it arises. A very effective pin. Have your opponant on the floor faceing upwards (back on the floor). Then feed one leg over the left arm/shoulder keep that pinned to the mat. Then go under the back of the head with your foot resting on top of the right arm/shoulder. Use you free left leg and put your foot ontop of their chest and force your body weight down causing a pin. Many submissions have been made with the use of leg locks. This is something I try to use when I get my opponent on their back. As you can see from the pictures in this series, Simone can dish it out as well as take it. ROB...YOU CAN LOOK AT THE SERIES OF PIX AND PUT A PARAGRAPH IN...THEN SKIP DOWN TO THE NEXT 4-5 PICS AND ADD ANOTHER PARAGRAPH...THESE 6 PARAGRAPHS CAN DESCRIBE SERVERAL PICS AT ONCE... maybe a teaser to the story and put the story and video about her gym on the membership side of things... A picture of the day...and short little paragraph about Pippa then lead it to the member ship area. Ever wonder how a pro wrestler becomes a great pro wrestler? Pippa L'Vinn knows wrestling inside and out, and continues to learn every day. Wrestling to her is a way of life and once in the ring, you'll see that Pippa has learned her skills from the ground up. Wrestling is about wrestling not about pulling hair, slapping, chopping, prancing around the ring....Pippa stresses to anyone wanting to learn to wrestle to learn it from the basics to the very technical aspects of the sport.. Pippa has a passion for wrestling and it paid off for her when she defeated Leilani Kai for the championship of which she wore proudly. Our photo story is from Pippa herself as she makes her point with pictures from a recent workout session with her student Simone from Germany. Simone is still learning from Pippa but to look back to when she started...it's like night and day. All in our membership area with a special video clip as she welcomes you to the Wrestling Factory in Manchester.
