Call her the Wicked Beauty, the Female Tornado or the Indie Wrestling Madwoman... all three apply 
equally well to this young newcomer, who proves in match after match why the Mid-Atlantic region 
has always been a hotbed of outstanding women's wrestling.

LADYSPORTS: Welcome, Alexis... when did you first get into the sport?
ALEXIS PARRISH: I started in July of 2010. I wrestled ‘til November that year, then I got pregnant so I took some time off. I came back on November 13th 2011.

LS: Who trained you?
AP: Myric Moore trained me. I also had help from Wicked, Rob Killjoy and Will Demented.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
AP: I am a huge fan of 80's wrestling, particularly of the Fabulous Moolah and Sensational Sherri.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
AP: I used to be very big into softball while I was in school.

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
AP: I like to think of myself as easy going... I like to have a good laugh. I am very goal driven; if I have a goal I want to reach, I'll do whatever it takes to reach it.

LS: What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?
AP: My intensity in the ring and with the fans.

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
AP: I love to get in the ring and train. My trainer always stressed it's more important to learn the little things than it is to learn big flashy stuff. Cardio is also a big deal in wrestling.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
AP: I am more of a ground and pound wrestler.

LS: What moves are you best known for?
AP: I do the Widows Peak.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
AP: No, knock on wood! I have been lucky enough to have not gotten hurt.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
AP: Mia Svensson is a tough opponent, what with her quickness and all-over ring ability.

LS: Who are your allies?
AP: My husband, David Rhymer and the SWA.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
AP: Winning my first title, the Women's Independent Wrestling Brotherhood belt, against Darcy Dixon.

LS: What was your worst loss?
AP: Losing at my chance to win the Women's AIWF title against Lei D Tapa.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
AP: Kacee Carslile.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most? A:P I love wrestling in general... I'll do any kind of match!

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
AP: Most the time they are shocked and don't believe me.

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
AP: The tradition and brotherhood of the sport of wrestling. It's all about respect for each other and your craft.

LS: What are your fans like?
AP: Amazing!! I love all of my fans... I don't know what I would do without them. They are always very supportive of me!

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
AP: Make things back the way they used to be, with paying your dues and being trained properly. Taking the business back and respecting it.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
AP: I've held the IWB Womens title. And I have wrestled throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. My home promotion is SWA out of Forest City, NC.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
AP: I think it is great as long as they want to take it seriously and help improve the sport of women wrestling.

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?
AP: Winning my IWB title and Earl Hebner reffing me and Mia Svensson's match.

LS: Any regrets?
AP: Not being in the ring as much as I want to be.

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
AP: Go crazy! Ha ha

LS: What is your personal motto?
AP: One day at a time to make my dream come true, to come out on top being the best.

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
AP: Making it in wrestling and supporting my family.

LS: Anything else you'd like to add?
