THE STATS:

Name: Nikki The New York Knockout

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 150

Hair: Whatever

Hometown: Brooklyn, New York

LADYSPORTS: When did you first get into the sport?
NIKKI: Seven years ago I moved from NYC to Cali to train at UPW.

LS: Who trained you?
NNYKo: The Ballard brothers, Aaron Aguilar, Frankie Kazarian, Samoa Joe. For lucha I was trained by Misterioso and Los Luchas, as well as Shamu, Jr.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
NNYKo: I was a huge fan because I loved the way the theatrics combined with the athletics.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
NNYKo: I went to college my first year on a softball scholarship, then I transferred to another college on a basketball scholarship. I really don't play either anymore. I do train for boxing, but my passion is pro wrestling and lucha.

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
NNYKo: I guess I'm a natural born heel. I try to keep a positive attitude in what I think is one of the hardest businesses to be in.

LS: What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?
NNYKo: I will knock you out! I mix my American style with my lucha style, which makes me unstoppable. Well... most of the time.

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
NNYKo: I train every day whether it be in the gym, boxing or wrestling, or doing outdoor cardio. In-ring cardio is the most important thing when it comes to winning your match.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
NNYKo: On the ground and up in the air.

LS: What moves are you best known for?
NNYKo: Nikkinoku Driver, dives, and dropkicks from anywhere

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
NNYKo: I have been lucky and blessed that my worst injury was a sprained hand. It did take three years to fully recover, though.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
NNYKo: Michelle Morgan and Erica D'Erico. They're just as mean as I am!

LS: Who are your allies?
NNYKo: Morgan and Erica, known as "Bump n' Grind".

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
NNYKo: Winning the Adrenaline Unleashed belt from Morgan.

LS: What was your worst loss?
NNYKo: Losing to Lil Cholo. ... he kicked my ass.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
NNYKo: There's so many I wouldn't be able to list them all. Mickie James always impresses me.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
NNYKo: Singles.

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
NNYKo: They tell me I don't look like a wrestler. I don't know if that's a compliment or not.

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
NNYKo: It's just a drug. The adrenaline is addicting.

LS: What are your fans like?
NNYKo: What are wrestling fans usually like?

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
NNYKo: Not letting random reality celebrities and models get in the ring before they're ready.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
NNYKo: A lot of places, a lot of titles.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
NNYKo: They should just be eye candy. Just kidding.

LS: Any regrets?
NNYKo: Nope.

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
NNYKo: I'd be a 7th grade science teacher at a Middle school somewhere in East LA.

LS: What is your personal motto?
NNYKo: If you ain’t the lead dog, the scenery never changes.

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
NNYKo: Everything I do makes me happy. World peace and ending world hunger, I guess.
