The PGWA and USWO held their latest joint card together at the Stadium Inn in downtown Nashville on Friday, June 9th.

Passion had originally been scheduled to face Nikki Roxx for the PGWA Championship, but she had to cancel due to a family medical emergency. Christina Dutkowski was also announced to participate, but she backed out of the show without warning or explanation two days beforehand. The PGWA managed to bring in Mickie Knuckles and MsChif to work, but MsChif had to skip Friday's card due to a family emergency of her own.

NIKKI ROXX defeats MICKIE KNUCKLES (PGWA Championship Match)

 An unusual choice of opponent for Roxx, perhaps, considering that this is Mickie's first appearance in the PGWA, and thus she is not a ranked contender. But Nikki had been hearing great things about Mickie for quite some time, and the Champ was anxious to test her mettle against the youngster.
 They shake hands, then exchange top wristlocks. Mickie takes Nikki down into a front facelock. Nikki is up and applies an armbar, but Mickie is able to pick her up and drop her, breaking the hold.
 They stall a bit as an elderly fan in the front row (Charlie) does some pushups to demonstrate his vitality, and the girls follow suit. Ref Jingus joins in the fun, but can barely do one. The wrestlers offer to help Jingus with his pushups, but they're a bit too energetic for his delicate constitution.
 The action resumes, and Mickie gets a step over armbar, impishly using Nikki's own hand to wave to the crowd. Nikki applies an STF, but Mickie raises up and pulls Nikki down into a headlock. Nikki gets a headscissors, but Mickie is able to do a headstand and roll Nikki over for a 2 count. Mickie goes for a sleeper, Nikki out and tries an armbar but Mickie pulls her into a headscissors and also chops her in the stomach. Nikki hits a double underhook for 2, but Mickie right back up.
 They shake hands again as a sign of their mutual respect, a gesture which some in the crowd seem to appreciate. Mickie with a waistlock takedown into a facelock. Nikki up with a suplex, holding on the Mickie's arm. Mickie rolls through and gets a toehold, but Nikki is in the ropes. Nikki with a droptoehold, then does a kind of crossways surfboard, rolls and pulls back on Mickie's arms. Nikki then grabs the leg and gets a big ol' bite of it, out of referee Jingus' sight.
 They scoot out to the middle of the ring, and Mickie gets a bodyscissors and rolls Nikki around in a circle. They trade covers for a moment, then clothesline each other. Mickie gets a waistlock but Nikki drops and throws her off. Mickie with some kneelifts, then a northern lights suplex for 2. Mickie headbutts Nikki in the back of the head, but her German suplex try is blocked. Nikki grabs Mickie into her sitdown bearhug atomic drop thingy (now officially dubbed "The Finish") and hits it for the pin in 12:00
 No typical "good girl/bad girl" in this one... just two first class athletes giving it their all!

MARIA MONTANA (with valet C.C.) defeats THE BARONESS

  The Baroness Simone demands the microphone and begins to berate the crowd... in German! Maria takes the mic and says that while she doesn't know exactly what Simone says, the tone sure sounds to her like an invitation for a good ol' American butt-kicking! Simone gets in some early hairpulling between kneelifts. Maria with a snapmare, then tries a surfboard but Simone makes the ropes. Maria drops an elbow, but Simone is up and holding Maria in a headlock. Maria out with kneelifts and throws Simone.
 Maria with headlock on the mat, but Simone works out and puts Maria in a headscissors. Maria rolls up and over for a quick 2. Maria tries a toehold, but Simone hairpulls her way out. Maria slams Simone, drops an elbow, then pulls her arms while standing on her hair. Break and more circling. Simone bites her way out of a test of strength and chokes Maria in the ropes. Jingus admonishes Simone in English which is futile, while the crowd tries to help him by providing whatever German phrases they know, from "mach schnell" to "ich bin ein rulebreaker!"
 Maria clotheslines Simone, then gets a toehold, but Simone gets out with an eyepoke of doom. Maria grabs another toehold, but this time is able to grab the other leg and apply a Boston crab. Simone can't get out and angrily taps in 14:00.

PEGGY LEE LEATHER & BRITTANY LOVE defeat SUSAN MORTON & NIKKI ROXX

 Susan takes down the smaller Brittany by the leg, but Brittany kicks her away, but only to get clotheslined out. Nikki takes over, but Brittany hairpulls her over to her corner. Peggy sholderblocks Nikki and throws some elbows. Brittany back with a hairpull takedown, then drops a leg on Nikki for 2. Nikki gets double on as ref Jingus reminds Susan that she needs to tag in legally.
Nikki clotheslines Brittany and tags Susan. Susan covers Brittany, but Peggy pulls her off and shoves her over to the corner, where Nikki tags in. Peggy drags Nikki back to her corner, throwing forarms and punches. Brittany joins in on the fun for a bit until Nikki crossbodies both for a 2 on Brittany. Peggy hairpulls Nikki into a headlock, while she and Brittany take turns false tagging, much to Nikki's detriment. Brittany with a snapmare and dropkick to Nikki's face. They exchange forearms and chops and Nikki is able to get over to tag Susan. Peggy also in and she tears into Susan, throwing punches, knees, forearms. Peggy then takes time to choke Susan in the ropes for a while. Nikki goaded into the ring by Brittany, then prevented from illegal entry by Jingus, distracting him from Peggy's rulebreaking.
 Another tag, and Brittany with a single leg crab on Susan, then just chokes her. Peggy false tags in and applies an abdominal claw. The referee warns her that the clawhold is illegal in Nashville, but Peggy just shoves Jingus away, then rakes Susan's back and applies a camel clutch. Brittany uppercuts Susan for 2, then Peggy helps with some more choking. Susan breaks free and hot tags Nikki, who cleans house. Peggy blocks a body slam try by Nikki and hits one of her own, then hits a Vader bomb for the pin in 17:00
 Peggy then snarls at the semi-conscious Roxx, "You'd rather French kiss a rattlesnake than mess with me!"

NOTE: As a result of Peggy Lee Leather's clean pin of Nikki Roxx, Peggy demanded... and received ... a GrudgeMatch with the blond the following day, with the PGWA Championship on the line....
