LadySports ::: More LLF Action!...

Lucha Libre Femenil continues to present exciting wrestling action every Friday. bringing the fans not only the best women in Mexico, but also visitors from the United States and Canada. That was definitely the case this past Friday night, which saw some outstanding talent from north of the border...but not without a mishap or two along the way.

For starters, it looked as if the weather was conspiring to keep people at home that day, as it rained heavily. However, as show time neared, the rain miraculously stopped, ensuring a large and enthusiastic crowd of spectators for the show!

But then there was the problem with LuFisto. The Canadian wrestler had arrived in Monterrey just fine, but the airline had managed to lose her luggage, which meant she had nothing to wear in her match. And while the thought the extreme battler fighting au natural would no doubt have excited more than a few fans in the crowd that night, Ariel came to her rescue and let LuFisto borrow one of her own ring garb for that evening.

The event was kicked off with the resumption of an old feud between Tigresa del Norte and Flor de Loto, with Tigresa taking this round in their ongoing war by winning the Best of Three Falls Match. But Flor swears their next encounter will end differently!

In the second match of the night, what was originally announced as a one on one match erupted into an unexpected tag team battle, as the spectators saw the heel duo of La Bruja and Nivia de Jason face fan favorites Reina Vampira and Diana la Cazadora. Unfortunately for the good girls, the ruda team claimed victory in three falls.

In the semifinal event, Mexico's own Tsunami (who is already being touted as the likely LLF 2005 Rookie of the Year!) and Chacala took a surprise win over new PGWA Champion Nikki Roxx and her partner, GLORY Champion Ariel. The Americans put up a valiant fight, but their opponents made good use of their size advantage. And emerging from the match is what looks to be a new feud between Ariel and Tsunami!

The main event of the evening featured the long-awaited return of Canadian hardcore queen LuFisto, who faced the challenge of Polly Star. These two hellions brawled both in and out of the ring, and even took their fight out of the arena and into the street! They uses neon light bulbs, chairs, ladders, and anything else they could get their hands on against each other. But for all of the hardcore action, both women displayed their expert knowledge of technical maneuvers, and it was a German Suplex applied by LuFisto on Polly Star...atop a pile of broken glass, no less...that won the battle for the Canadian!

For the next upcoming LLF show, it was announced that LuFisto would put her LLF Hardcore Title on the line in a Four Way Ladders Dance against challengers Luna Magica, Polly Star and Nikki Roxx.
