LADYSPORTS: Welcome to LadySports, Lillie Mae! When did you first become interested in pro wrestling?
LILLIE MAE: I have watched wrestling since I was little. My dad and I would go watch indy shows. I knew from the first moment I saw it, I wanted to be able to wrestle.

LS: And when did you first enter the sport?
LM: My debut was at River City Wrestling in San Antonio, Texas on October 25, 2008.

LS: Who have been your biggest ongoing inspirations to be a wrestler?
LM: All the people who have said I couldn't do it, and my passion for this sport gives me the drive to go on.

LS: What is Lillie Mae like in the ring, personality-wise?
LM: I am always wanting to be silly...I love making people laugh, but I will stomp a mud hole in someone when it is needed. I will not be walked all over!

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
LM: I start out with conditioning…squats, push ups, sit ups…then rolls in the ring. Trust me, it’s a lot harder than it sounds. Then I like to finish up with grappling.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
LM: I wrestled Joey Spector in my third match. He went to drop kick me when I was on all fours and drove my head right into the mat, making me bite completely through my lip! I am lucky that has been the worst thing to happen to me.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
LM: A mix of strong style with technical wrestling.

LS: What moves are you best known for?
LM: Flying head scissors, assisted insuguri, Mexican surfboard, and pump handle slam.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
LM: Hands down would be Rachel Summerlyn. I have been a fan of hers for a while, but getting the opportunity to work a SHIMMER star is very intimidating.

LS: And who have been your biggest allies?
LM: Bubba Dumplins and Just Willie.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
LM: Simply Luscious!!!

LS: What was your worst loss?
LM: Losing to Nicole Matthews. She pulled my tights and I wasn't able to kick out, which really made me mad...but I am looking forward to the rematch!

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
LM: Hands down would be Hamada.

LS: And if you had to retire tomorrow and could have only one more match, who would you most like to wrestle?
LM: Diamond Icee…she is a good friend of mine and has helped me tons through my journey of being a wrestler. I know her and I could end it with a great match

LS: What is your favorite style of match?
LM: Any kind of comedy match...as long as it gets to the point.

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
LM: Keeping kayfabe!!!

LS: Where do you see yourself in five years?
LM: Hopefully Japan. I will always strive for being the best and I know Japan is where I need to be to achieve it.

LS: Any regrets?
LM: NOPE!!! I don't regret anything because everything I have done, I wanted at some point.

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
LM: I would be a nurse.

LS: What is your personal motto?
LM: Live life to the fullest and don't regret anything. L: And lastly, what's the one thing about you the fans would be most surprised to learn?
LM: I am one of the silliest people you will ever meet. I love entertaining people and I make it my goal to do that every time I step into the ring.

LS: Thanks for speaking with us, Lillie Mae. Anything else you'd like to add?
LM: Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way. You know who you are and I owe you a lot. I love all of my fans, friends, and family.
