LadySports ::: CHARLIE KRUEL

Q & A: CHARLIE KRUEL

"Kruel to be Kind... of Violent!"

It goes without saying that it takes a special kind of person to be a professional wrestler.
And some wrestlers are more...special...than others. And by 'special', we mean being
maliciously dedicated to creating as much carnage and chaos in the ring as is humanly
possible.
Which brings us to our current spotlight lady, Charlie Kruel!

The Stats:

Height: Five feet, three inches
Weight: None of your damn business!
Hair: Was red and black, now it's purple, tomorrow... who knows!
Hometown: Escaped from Death Row

LADYSPORTS: Welcome to LadySports, Charlie! Tell us, when did you first get into the sport?
CHARLIE KRUEL: I was around maybe 11 years old...my step-dad and brothers helped me get into it originally. Then at 17 I started training in jiu-jitsu and kickboxing. And at 19 I started training in the ring. I was 20 when I made my debut.

LS: And who trained you?

CK:
Aaron LaMotta, Rudy Switchblade, Too Tuff Tony, and now Ronnie Roberts at Grindhouse Pro Wrestling Academy.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
CK: AJ Lee, hands down. I probably wouldn't be a wrestler if it wasn't for her. Never got to meet her before though. That really needs to change. I need to thank her.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
CK: Nothing...honestly, only wrestling. I only watch the Super Bowl for the halftime performances and food!

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of personality, likes, dislikes, and strengths?
CK: My personality is a bit off the rocker. People think they can change me, then they realize they can't.
My likes: hurting, humiliating and feeling the pain from others. Dislikes: wrestling fans. My strength? MÄŠÚKÜ.

LS: And what is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?
CK: My kicks, are deadly. I like to use them a lot. Everything about me is my favorite characteristic. I'm just that good!

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
CK: Legs and cardio are very important to me when it comes to my workout plans.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
CK: Striker, asshole. I try to be everything.

LS: What moves are you best known for?
CK: My knee strikes in the corner, and my finish, the 'KRUEL Reality'.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
CK: No, knock on wood. I had a sprained knee once, but that was nothing. Nothing really hurts me, I live off of pain. That's how I keep going.

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?
CK: Toughest opponent? No one's too tough for me. But if you REALLY want to know... Roni "Big Bang" Nicole. She's tough as hell, her chops are like gun shots going through your body. But still, not tougher than me of course. She's not going to read this...is she? LOL

LS: Who are your allies?
CK: I don't do allies. But if its anyone, Ella. She's the other half of the Psycho Screamers, our tag team.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
CK: Against Shotzi Blackheart. But every win is memorable for me. I always make every moment memorable.

LS: And what was your worst loss?
CK: We don't talk about that one. Losing MY Grindhouse Women's Title to "Amazing" Maria doesn't count, I got distracted!

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
CK: Mia Yim, Tessa Blanchard, Sü Yüng. There's just so many, I can't name them all.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
CK: Any match with no rules. You never want me in a match like that, where anything goes. I usually become more violent then.

LS: And what sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
CK: "IT'S FAKE, RIGHT?!?" usually. I don't communicate with idiots who think what we do is 'fake'.

LS: What are your fans like?
CK: Well, they like me, so they're obviously smart.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
CK: I've worked in Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Ohio, Missouri, Michigan and Illinois. The only belt I've held is the Grindhouse Women's Title... SO FAR!

LS: What has been your most unforgettable moment in the sport so far?
CK: Probably winning my first title. Sharing a ring with Scott Hall and getting DDT'd by Rebel. The Triad of Tenacity.

LS: Any regrets?
CK: Never. I don't regret anything. The only thing I DO regret is not wrestling sooner.

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?
CK: I'd be in jail, if I wasn't still running from the police.

LS: What is your personal motto?
CK: Kill.

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
CK: Wrestling. Becoming big one day like I know in my heart I will. Getting to the WWE someday.

LS: And before we go, is there anything else you'd like to add?
CK: Epstein Didn't Kill Himself. Also, go to sleep and wake up realizing you will never be as good as me. The end. https://www.facebook.com/CharlieKruel/
