LADYSPORTS: Welcome to Ladysports, Ashley! When did you first get into the sport?

ASHLEY LEE JUSTICE: I've always felt the love for wrestling, and after watching
other girls in my high school compete, I felt I could do the same! My love for
acting and wrestling work very well together. Here in South Texas, wrestling
wasn't a sport for women, but that all changed in 2011! That's when Wrestling
Revolution started! They welcomed me to train with open arms! Long story
short and three years later, I'm now where I'm at today.

LS: And who trained you?

ALJ: I would like to thank Jim Justice, Danny Ramons and William Starns for
training me!

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?

ALJ: My children! As a proud mother of three. I want to set an example.
By showing them that hard work, dedication can get you where you want in
life and make your dreams come true!

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?

ALJ: I also like to play basketball, ballet and dance!

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality,
likes, dislikes, and strengths?

ALJ: I have a very outgoing personality! I’m usually always happy!
Come on... with three lovely smiles I see everyday, how could I not be? Ha!

I like to try and stay positive with life and live one day at a time.
Creating goals, making time for my family, and love for the sport of
wrestling is usually on my agenda.

I love the beach! I live not too far away from South Padre Island, so
you'll usually find me out taking jogs along the water, swimming or
fishing! Very outdoors type of gal!

I graduated from our local community college in Vocational Nursing, and
quit my job to become a full-time mom and live my dream as a professional
wrestler!

I dislike fake people, liars, mosquitos, warm beer and terrorists!

You want to know what my super power is? I'm the Fabulous Lady Liberty!
I represent women everywhere. Those who think they can't succeed due to
life issues or because they think you don't have what it takes. As long
as you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything!

LS: What is your most marked characteristic as a wrestler?

ALJ: I love blowing kisses at my fans! And my sparkly outfits!
You can't miss me!

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important
in your workout?

ALJ: I start by doing some stretches and yoga to prep myself.
Then after about 30 minutes I do some cardio for about 10 minutes.
After that I then start working on basics and training drills for
about 2 hours. Then work on grappling and running the ropes.
Every training day is different! A bit of everything to prep
myself for future matches and for a healthy lifestyle.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?

ALJ: Japanese/American Style.

LS: What moves are you best known for?

ALJ: X factor, Full Nelson Side Slam, 3 Amigos, Manhattan,
Liberty Love Hold.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?

ALJ: I've had a busted nose one time!

LS: Who have been your toughest opponents?

ALJ: Kat Green.

LS: And who are your allies?

ALJ: Lena and Kat Green.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?

ALJ: The time I made Kat Green tap out with the Liberty
Love Hold! Epic win! She couldn't take the pain!

LS: What was your worst loss?

ALJ: The time I was distracted against the Agents Of
Apocalypse and lost the match against them.
Still have nightmares about it.

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to
face in the ring, but haven't yet?

ALJ: Victoria.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?

ALJ: I enjoy any type of matches! As long as I'm in
that ring nothing else matters but that epic fight
that's about to happen.

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?

ALJ: It's everything that has to do with it! So many
things make you a great wrestler! It means a lot to
me because I can say I'm living my dream. Not many can actually say that!

LS: Tell us, what are your fans like?

ALJ: My fans are incredible! They consist of all ages!
Everyone waving American flags, chanting my name, smiles,
hugs, high fives! It's great...I love them all!

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to
improve the sport?

ALJ: More women wrestlers! We need more women! Of all sizes!
Not just thin athletes, but some plus sized athletes as well.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?

ALJ: No titles so far. I've been to NWA Wrestling Revolution,
Ring of Faith and 5 Star Promotions.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?

ALJ: I think its great!

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the sport?

ALJ: The time my husband Jim Justice won the tag team titles.
I will never forget that moment.

LS: Any regrets?

ALJ: If I would have push myself harder two years ago, I'd be
out of the state by now.

LS: What would you do if you couldn't be in wrestling?

ALJ: I'd be working at our local hospital saving lives.

LS: What is your personal motto?

ALJ: Shit happens and you only live once.

LS: What would make you most happy in life?

ALJ: If everyone would just set away their differences and
get along, our world would be a happier place.

LS: Anything else you’d like to add?
