NOEL HARLOW

"Cheat, cheat again..."

Beauty, talent and (self-admitted) sneakiness, all in one package. Ms. Harlow certainly seems to have it all. And while she's been devoting more of her efforts lately to managing rather than wrestling, she's still not afraid to ‘get her hands dirty' from ringside... nor is she anything but proud of the battle scars she carries from the ring wars.

It's LadySports Online's pleasure to introduce Noel to our fans!

LADYSPORTS: Welcome to LadySports, Noel. When did you first get into the sport? NOEL HARLOW: I started getting involved in wrestling in the early 2000s. I sold 8 x 10's for a friend at ringside.

LS: And when you decided to become a wrestler, who trained you?
NH: Sean Denny.

LS: What was your biggest influence to become a wrestler?
NH: When I was a little girl, I wanted to be Sherri Martel so bad. I never wanted to be anything else.

LS: What other sports do you have an interest in?
NH: I kind of half-watch sports. My significant other loves the Phillies, so I watch that. I also try to catch some UFC when it's on.

LS: How would you describe yourself in terms of attitude, personality and strengths?
NH: I'm smart... even though I don't look like it. I'm sneaky; that's probably my biggest strength... in addition to using my Kim Kardashian-like butt to distract people.

LS: Describe a typical day of training for you. What is most important in your workout?
NH: I'm a BIG yoga fan. I start and end my day with it five days a week.

LS: How would you best describe your ring style?
NH: I'm sticking with sneaky... if that's a style.

LS: Did you base your ring style or even your persona on any one particular wrestler?
NH: I'm probably going to say Sherri and Luna Vachon, with a little bit of Woman mixed in. I watch a lot of really old wrestling to help enhance my character.

LS: What specific signature moves are you best known for?
NH: A Running Yakuza Kick on the ring apron.

LS: Have you ever been injured in the ring?
NH: I've had lots of injuries! I broke my tailbone, all my toes on my right foot, and my knee cap. I've torn tendons in my knee as well. Plus, countless bumps and bruises.

LS: Since you've begun, have you ever had a "Why am I still doing this" moment?
NH: Yes... the whole time I worked for CZW!

LS: Who has been your toughest opponent?
NH: Missy Sampson, I love her!

LS: And who are your allies?
NH: Niles Young, my future hubby, Sean Denny, Chrissy Rivera... even though we beat each other up from time to time... and The Rehobeth Beach Crew.

LS: What has been your most memorable win?
NH: Winning my "Queen of the Catfight" title in a match against Becky Bayless and Miss Michelle.

LS: What was your worst loss?
NH: I was in a mixed tag match at DCW with Niles Young and Kage as my partners, against my former partner Zac Conner and Chris Wylde. They cheated! I swear!

LS: Who is the one wrestler you would most like to face in the ring, but haven't yet?
NH: I'd like to wrestle Chrissy Rivera one-on-one. We have never had a singles match yet.

LS: What type of match do you enjoy the most?
NH: I prefer managing to anything else, but a good catfight is right up my alley.

LS: What sort of reactions do you get from people when they learn you are a wrestler?
NH: No one believes it, because I'm on the small side. My grandfather used to love to make people guess what I did for a living!

LS: What is so special about this sport to you?
NH: I love the feeling you get going through the curtain... it keeps me coming back for more.

LS: What are your fans like?
NH: My fans are amazing! Special shout-outs here to the York Nation and Jeff, formerly known as the Bagel Guy. I couldn't ask for better fans.

LS: If you had the power, what one thing would you do to improve the sport?
NH: Bring back Kayfabe. It's needed.

LS: Where have you wrestled, and what titles have you held?
NH: I have wrestled in so many places... Velocity Pro, MCW, Jersey All Pro, CZW, ROH, WEW, ACPW, DCW, ACW. There are so many, I can't name them all. Titles? I was Miss JAP and IHPW Queen of the Catfight.

LS: What are your thoughts on women participating in the sport?
NH: I think it's great. It always feels good to be a woman who can make her way in a man's world.

LS: What was your most unforgettable moment in the ring?
NH: I think when Niles and Derek Frazier won the tag belts in the ECW arena. Fans really talked a lot of shit on us there, and when we won it was like a big ‘in your face' to all the non-believers. I also will never forget the day we wrestled in Niles's hometown to a sold out crowd. That was the best show I've ever been a part of. You can see it on YouTube... the crowd was so loud they kept blowing the sound out on the camera!

LS: Any regrets?
NH: Yea, I trusted a lot of people in my early career who I shouldn't have. I've learned my lesson on that one. There's only one person you can trust in this business, and that's yourself.

LS: What do you suppose you would be doing if you couldn't be in wrestling?
NH: Walking without a limp!

LS: If you could have only one more final match, who would you most want to have as your opponent, and why?
NH: I would want to wrestle Missy Sampson again, I could give her a much better match now.

LS: What is your personal motto?
NH: Yes, "If at first if you don't succeed... cheat, cheat again!"

LS: What would make you most happy in life?
NH: I'd love to work for TNA, and I would be most happy if I could finish my wedding plans with Niles.

LS: Anything else you'd like to add?
NH: Thanks to all my fans who always stick by me, check out my MySpace at myspace.com/noelharlow

LS: Thanks for making the time to speak with us!
NH: Thank you for having me!
