Hailey Hatred Assesses Her 'Chick Fight' Rivals
When the PGWA decided to team up with APW to put together a tournament showcasing the top women
across the world today, I wasn`t suprised when I was contacted. The tournament is filled with
amazing performers, but I have one up on them: I`ve done my homework.
Sure, wrestling in a part of the country I have never wrestled in could be a disadvantage to me.
A lot is different. You have a different fan base, different crowd reactions, the competitors
have different training regimens, climate is a factor...there are lots of disadvantages a Midwest
wrestler going to California for the first time is up against. But I am wise to everything going on.
I know every tournament competitor's history, I know the history of the feud between Cheerleader
Melissa, Tiffany, and the latest addition, Nene Kimura, and I have the backstory on APW. But thats
just scratching the surface. I won`t reveal all of my secrets now, that would be foolish. But
its obvious that my knowledge, combined with my skill and work ethic, will solidify a victory for
me. Without giving away too much of my strategy, I have elected to run down my list of opponents
and their histories.
Seeing as how I won`t know who I am wrestling until the brackets are revealed, I am preparing to
fight each and every one of these competitors, and take home that tournament trophy.
First off, we have Tiffany, little Miss Mafia herself. She poses no real threat...unless she has
her boys ringside, which I`m sure she won`t. This rookie has something to prove, and she has too
much of an ego to have anyone else out with her who might steal her spotlight. But like I said,
she is a rookie, thus meaning she has little experience. She has done more than most rookies I
have come across, but that means nothing. She can`t possibly pose a threat to my offense, she`s just
a little girl.
Next we have Nikki Roxx. Trained by a true legend, Killer Kowlaski, this girl has really taken
off as of late. She frequents Mexico and has adapted to that style quite impressively. She
definitely has the most momentum going into this tournament, but that can easily be stopped by someone
like me. Or if she is paired with Princess Sugey, that will be a schooling-and-a-half. Nikki can
wrestle the Lucha style, but couldn`t hold a candle to Mexico`s Number One Luchadora. Nikki works
hard and can go, but I can assure you it won`t be her night.
And speaking of Princess Sugey, she is up for a rare US appearance. No joke, she is a tremendous
talent. While I may not be able to beat her at her own game, she is purely a Luchadora. Meaning
she isn`t versatile, where as I am. I can go Lucha, though it may not be my chosen style, but if
paired with her, I will elect to beat her on the mat versus in the air.
Nene Kimura may be one of the biggest threats in all of this tournament. She was trained by Asian
Cooger, who has quite a long list of accomplishments, as well as frequenting the Japanese
promotion JD Star. It`s no secret that Japanese training, especially among women, is the most
challenging...both mentally and physically...as there is out there. But come on, let's face it, the girl's
young. She's hardly old enough to buy a lottery ticket. She isn`t wise to me like I am wise to
her, which will result in her ultimate defeat.
To round out the rest of the cultural melting pot, I guess we had to pick up a Canadian...although
ask them and they think they are a world apart. Anyway, Miss Chevius comes to us from British
Columbia, and while I must admit she has a great work ethic and drive for the business, that is the
only thing that makes her dangerous. A nd I can easily answer to that, because no one has a harder
work ethic and drive for this sport than I do. This girl is too much T&A for my liking, and no,
not Talent and Ability. While she is busy adjusting her push up bra, I`ll come up with a pin and
eliminate her quickly...but not painlessly...from this tournament.
Ah, Christie Ricci, my seemingly never-ending opponent. Her history speaks for itself, this girl
can flat-out wrestle. Another person trained by a true legend in Leilani Kai, she has an Old
School edge combined with dangerous submissions and unbelievable athletecism. She has adapted the
Lucha style like none other, yet she doesn`t stray from her American roots. She is a true threat in
this tournament, and I laugh at the girl who takes her lightly. That said, I have beat her
before, and I can beat her again. I have made Christie tap, I have pinned her in the middle of the
ring, I have flat out cheated just because I can. Sure, I have lost a match or two to her, but she
caught me off guard, and that won`t happen again. I am completely focused on this tournament and
the other seven competitors, and I am not going all the way out to California to come home empty
handed! I know Christie`s style and she can`t suprise me with anything, I`ll be ready for everything
she can throw at me.
And last but not least, the hometown girl, Cheerleader Melissa. The easy pick for the morons in
California to take this tournament, but I hope she doesn`t take this invasion of APW lightly. If
she does, she in a world of hurt. So she spent some time honing her skills in Japan? Big deal.
She`s toured England? So what. The Cauliflower Alley Club named her a 'Future Legned'? I could
care less. Nothing could prepare her for being Number One on everyone`s hit list. And if the
other girls aren`t out to prove something, I am. I`ll beat Melissa at her own game in front of all of
her fans just to embarrass her. I truly hope she advances to the finals of the tournament,
because I`ll be there for Night Two, and I`d love to take her out in the last round...in a steel cage!
She may have the crowd behind her, but I am determined to win this tournament, and like I said,
I`ve got something to prove.
I hope California is ready for an awakening, because I`m ready to wake them up.
