WORLD'S STRONGEST WOMAN DEMANDS A CHALLENGE

It’s common in professional wrestling, of course, to lay claim to being the “Best” and the “Greatest.”

But this is a story about someone who is just that: Christina Dutkowski, once certified as the Strongest Woman in the World!

And what does that have to do with the PGWA? Well, many fans no doubt instantly recognized Christina’s name a moment ago as being among those listed to participate in the PGWA/USWO “Nashville Bash” live event on June the 9th.

The Canadian powerhouse began competing both as a weightlifter and a wrestler back in the 1980’s. She retired from the ring for a few years, but then made a comeback not very long ago. The hunger for competition, to test herself against the so-called “best” and to triumph over them, is what brought her back to the mat wars.

For Dutkowski, life is a struggle for heights which others find impossible, but which for her have merely been plateaus along the upward journey. This is a woman who has trained and sculpted her body to perform astonishing feats of strength: she shoulder presses 315 pounds, bench presses 425 pounds, and can leg press a mind-boggling 1800 pounds! And while most competitors would be proud to be able to say they can squat 500 pounds, Christina shrugs it off by explaining that she could have done more if she hadn’t been injured in a car accident.

As you might suspect, most adversaries in the ring can’t hope to go toe-to-toe with the Canadian in terms of sheer strength. And unfortunately for those opponents, Christina isn’t just about raw power…she’s also a highly accomplished grappler who knows her way around the ring. Is there any doubt why she often feels frustrated finding opponents who can give her the challenge she craves?

And it's a mighty challenge which Christina demands for her match in Nashville. Through a third party, we have heard that she is doubtful that the PGWA will be able to find anyone capable of giving her a decent match, because she is of the opinion that there is virtually no one in the sport who can truly challenge her.

Well, the PGWA aims to prove her wrong...although, to be honest, we've yet to determine just who she will be wrestling. But rest assured, we aim to give the Canadian Powerhouse a match that she won't soon forget!
