"RISE TO RUIN: CLAYDEN SPEAKS!"

"It is not enough to be delivered from sin; it is enough to be delivered to righteousness."

Things have changed in Great Britain of late, and those changes are
leading to what promises to be an exceptionally violent confrontation.
We here at LadySports thought that the fans would enjoy learning the
details from an old PGWA friend.

And so, without further ado, here is "Lethal" Lucy Clayden
in her own words:

Where to even start?

I'm afraid since I last to spoke LadySports, my story has twisted slightly. After years of showing good sportsmanship and respect and playing the game by the rules set by others, and receiving nothing but spiteful, manipulative, backstabbing cheating in return, I decided it was time to re-think my ‘good gal' attitude, as it was getting me nowhere.

Hastening that all-important change was a match I had with a newfound rival, Skarlett, in which she brutally and intentionally injured me. This caused me to have to suffer an entire year off of wrestling, which along with all the rubbish I had previously put up with, just infuriated me further, and drove me to seek new solutions and a better path.

When from the sidelines I saw Skarlett's rise to power and influence in EWW, bitter, cruel thoughts overcame me, and I knew I had to do whatever it took to take that power away from her... and that meant taking her EWW Women's Championship.

As I convalesced and prepared for my return to the ring, I befriended as many people as I could who would help me make a momentous entrance and shake things up in EWW. A very handsome man called Jonny Love, who was looking to build a team to take on Skarlett's stable, the EWW Freaks, noticed my efforts and recruited me to bring along his protégé, Pollyanna. We thus became the League of Love!

Finally fit and ready to fight, I burst back onto the EWW scene with a huge bang, giving the audience a few home truths about their depraved lifestyles, and enlightening them with the truth of my righteousness. I also proceeded to demonstrate my unshakable support of my new team, the League, no matter what it took. Jealous minds persecuted us, trying to divide and conquer the League, specifically by banning me from ringside during a recent major match of Jonny's. However, that bogus effort backfired, and Jonny naturally emerged victorious. And I swear that I have no idea how that chain ended up in the ring... or in his opponent's face. Total mystery to me.

And with me at her side, Pollyanna took on the oversized Irish potato that is Rhia O'Reilly... and was doing a fantastic job!... but the moment I turned my back, she lost it for herself, and I had to pick up the pieces and sort the spud out myself! And not that I needed it of course, but I was getting some small help from the former Number One Contender for the EWW Woman's Championship, Becky James, when we were rudely interrupted by the Queen of the Freaks herself... Skarlett! I don't know where she gets off intruding on things that are none of her concern.

I realized I now had the chance to show that Freak I meant business, so Pollyanna and I accompanied Becky James to her title shot against Skarlett, the current (and temporary) EWW Women's Champ. I did my best but Becky's effort was weak, and in spite of my invaluable help she couldn't take the title off Skarlett.

I decided to ditch Becky at the next show. After all, I couldn't have her weakness continue to reflect on me, and the League of Love already had other things to sort out that night. I had stirred things up enough to earn myself a Number One Contendership Match, with the winner getting a shot at Skarlett. Knowing full well there was no way I could lose, this victory would take me another step closer to paying back and taking down the Queen of the Freaks.

But the EWW thought they could put a spanner in the works and make it a Triple Threat Match, with me taking on Rhia O'Reilly and... in what I'm sure they thought was a clever bit... my own stablemate, Pollyanna! As if this would hinder me in any sort of way... I hardly think so!

Their feeble plan failed of course, as Polly and I functioned as the perfect team, absolutely overwhelming O'Reilly. Poor Polly ultimately couldn't hold her own against Rhia when I took a tumble out the ring, but that hardly mattered. After all, her winning the match was never an option in my plan.

Long story short, I baked the Big Green Potato, thus making me the new Number One Contender for that strap of leather and gold which is presently wrapped around Skarlett's waist... an intolerable situation I will soon be rectifying, rest assured.

That championship has been in the hands of darkness for far too long! The EWW fans are being brainwashed to think this sinful, demonic image the EWW portrays is normal and acceptable. You only have to look at half the roster to see this, and I can no longer sit back and watch these freaks glamorise hell!

When I am the new EWW Women's Champion I will be a shining light to show people the error of their ways. I will represent the better virtues and lead the fans to the light, and I will not be stopped in accomplishing this. My battle is no longer just with Skarlett. Being a better person than she is, I forgive her for injuring me, but I can never forgive her and her fellow Freaks leading all these poor ignorant people straight to hell's door!

The fans need me! They are lost sheep in need of firm guidance. They may hate me along the way, because the small-minded always fear and hate what they can't understand, but it's a small price to pay for the ultimate goal of becoming a great champion and the righteous authority the sport needs!

And all of this... the many hard months spent recovering, training, planning and struggling... will finally come to fruition on the 14th of May, as Skarlett and I finally face one another at EWW's "Rise to Ruin", and the Queen of Freaks meets her Armageddon!
