LadySports ::: Cindy Responds...

"CHEAP SHOT!"

Cindy Rogers on Her Match with Ariel

Recently, LadySports Online gave JWA-United Women's Champion Ariel the opportunity to discuss her recent title defense against challenger Cindy Rogers at the "Girls' Night Out" spectacular. Suffice to say, one of the readers of that account wasn't all that pleased with Ariel's version of events.

So, in the interest of fairness and equal time, here is a rebuttal by Cindy Rogers:

"First off, I give Ariel props for our match at JWA, but as far as 'fair and square' goes... I don't think so!

We had a great, brutal match, and she had hung in there with the submissions I put her in. I give her all the respect in the world for that, but that respect seems to have been one way, since she had to lay in a cheap shot to take me down.

I took everything she had to give, like her version of the Shining Wizard, and she couldn't beat me fair and square. Oh, she's talented...I got her into one of my beautiful submissions, and she still managed to roll out of it. Goody for her! But the fact is, when she knew she couldn't out-wrestle me, she took a cheap shot, proceeding to kick me squarely in the ear and the side of my head. If that is not an ultimate cheap shot, I don't know what is! She can deny it all she wants, but believe me, I have it on tape... and yes, I have been studying that tape very closely.

There is one thing in what she said about our match that isn't a blatant lie...this is far from over between us! I have been doing my homework, studying her, learning everything about her, and the next time she will not be so lucky. BE READY ARIEL!"

Stay tuned to LadySports Online for any future developments between these two ladies!
