"Never Turn Your Back on Me!"

A Match Perspective from Camron Star

[On the 21st of January 2006, fans in Indianapolis witnessed a wild confrontation between Camron Star and Scarlett Rose. This was a rematch for a battle they fought the week before... a match which Scarlett won. Scarlett was coming off of the injured list after several weeks, and Camron was more than willing to maliciously target her opponent's still-tender knee. Now, in their second battle, the insidious Star was determined to not only beat her adversary, but seemingly cripple her in the bargain! Here is Ms. Star's recollections of the match... from her (as she insists) entirely unbiased point of view.]

I came out. Confident. I knew what I had accomplished in Charleston, Illinois [the week before]. I knew she was already tenderized for me. Ripe for the slaughter.

She came out, soaking up the adoration of the fans. Made me sick. But I stood and waited for her.

And she walked right up. Stood inches from my face. Maybe a slight hint of fear. Maybe a touch of rage. Either way, we understood each other.

I had placed a bag of powder in my knee pad... just as a small distraction. But she saw it and called me on it. Good, she's not a dim as she looks.

The powder was taken away and the match began. I allowed her to get control of my arm. She wasn't going to do anything too damaging... a few twists. Painful, but I can handle it.

I wanted to play a little game with her. So, I mounted a corner and decided to get the fans involved. Of course they booed me. But what I was waiting for was her to follow suit.

And when her back was turned, I slapped her in the back. Not to hurt her... to send a message: NEVER turn your back on me.

I then found a perfect test... of strength. I called for it. She warily accepted. We fought our way. Each of us being forced to bend backward and fight back, only I swept her leg sending her down to the mat. Then, she surprised me.

As I leaned in to tell her this wasn't going to be a walk in the park, she flipped me over! And then we both turned over and got back to our feet. Amazing, she can keep up.

Then she blinked, and her inner-rookie shined through. She left her knee open to me. So, I kicked it. And she fell.

And then, I never let up. I assaulted her knee, with a Kneebreaker and Leg Screw, and I even wrapped it around a rope. But she wouldn't cave.

Then I get the bright idea to Side Slam her. And that's when she got me... hit a perfect Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissor! But that's okay; she left her knee out again, and I knocked her right back down.

I torqued it. I stretched it. But that wasn't enough for me. A Fisherman's Suplex helped to seal it up. Followed up with a Bow and Arrow stretch, just to show her that I didn't just have to rip her knee apart to make her feel my power.

And even still, she didn't stop. I picked her leg up for a final blow... and she kicked me, right in the back! And the idiot fans were behind her all the way.

I watched her muster the strength to come after me. But just as she tried, her knee wouldn't allow it. She flopped right back down to the mat.

And this was my opening.

I let her try and escape... and I stopped her at my leisure, laughing at her pitiful attempt. I stood on her neck and then grabbed her injured knee and pulled back. My goal was to make her leg touch her head... in a way the human body isn't meant to bend. I got close, but she tapped out. Wise choice.

Unfortunately for her, I'm the wrong girl to try to submit to. I wouldn't let go, even as the referee kept making his meaningless threats. No, I didn't let go... at least until my associate, Vinny Vachetti... along with my baseball bat... arrived.

And just before I could hit her... her big hero, Zane, arrived. Lucky for her.

But there's always next time. And there will be a next time.

And contrary to popular belief, I'm not interested in crippling her. I'm interested in making a formidable opponent for myself. Each match. Each conversation. Every time we engage in a verbal tango... I can see the rage growing. Until one day, she'll snap. And I'll have her right were I want her.

There is always a master plan... and mine will be revealed.

All in due time.
