BACARDI is BACK!

For those fans who may have been wondering why the British wrestling scene seemed to sedate these last few months, the answer is that Bacardi... a veritable one-woman wrecking crew who's also known to PGWA fans as Hailz... had been sidelined with a very serious injury. "I was in a match in Spain with Amazon Kyra Brooks and Antonella, and they realized that the only way they could beat me was to cripple me. So, they went after my right knee, and managed to tear my meniscus and ACL. I've had surgery to repair the meniscus, and will have further procedures soon to replace my ACL, which was ruptured completely."

"They did a very thorough job... but, unfortunately for them, not thorough enough. I'm coming back to the ring soon, and it won't be long before I deal with the two of them... I'm definitely keen on a rematch with the two of them. And trust me, I will make certain they regret what they did to me for a very, very long time!"

"But in the meantime, I'm focusing my attention on my return to the ring, which will be part of one of the biggest wrestling events in Europe ! On November 14th, Deutsche Wrestling Allianz will be launching a tournament in Visselhoevede , Germany to crown the DWA Women's Wrestling Championess... and I don't think I have to tell you that I intend for the winner to be me! What's most interesting about this tournament is that it will launch with an international tag team match. I'm representing England , and I'll be teamed with Carmel Jacob from Scotland , and we'll be facing Croatia 's Wesna and LuFisto from Canada."

"My plan is to take the fight to Wesna and LuFisto straight out, match them strength for strength and move for move. These will be the toughest opponents of my career, and I plan to give as good as I get. If I can beat them, even without my ACL being one-hundred percent, I'll know that nothing can stop me in the ring."

"Being sidelined with my injury for so long gave me the chance to rethink a lot of my move sets, partly because my knee isn't as strong as it once was. It's still partially unstable and won't be in top shape again until after my surgery. But when you spend so much of your time just learning how to walk again, you've got a lot of time to think about what you want to do when you get back into the ring... and who you want to do it to. So, I've got some new moves I'm ready to unleash on my upcoming opponents. And if they thought the old Bacardi was hard to handle, wait until they run up against the new and improved model!"

LadySports Online is very happy that Bacardi is back in action, and we wish her the very best luck on November the 14th!
